When it comes to the latest and greatest medical technology, few celebs are more open and willing to try them than Gwyneth Paltrow.
I mean, would any of us know about steaming our vaginas if it weren’t for Gwyneth?

And yes, Goop has faced a lot of backlash in the past for their kinda pretentious and HELLA expensive recommendations.
Like, suggesting a nearly $1,000 sweater to her audience prolly isn’t a relatable move.
And of course, there was the time she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to advertise her own Goop products.
But was immediately called out for appearing to not know what she was talking about.
Jimmy brought out camel milk and all bets were off.
“Apparently, it’s really from camel!” she said, while looking entirely unsure of her own statement.
But fear not! It looks like Gwyneth has found the latest way to check your breast health, and that’s something we can all get behind!
It’s an issue that affects both men and women!
“October was breast cancer awareness month. I was working and traveling so I punted my annual check up a few weeks,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I went to go see my friend @sonobreasts for a radiation-free, pain-free breast scan. I like to do these in between mammograms to cover all my bases.”
The comments were filled with support and thankfulness for Gwyneth raising awareness.
“Thanks for sharing! Breast care is cool and we need to promote proactive care! I like your style Gwyneth!” wrote one fan.
“Love it! Early detection if we don’t pay attention and take time let us not wait for tragedy to make some moves for a better healthier safer self,” shared one fan.
“It’s wonderful to normalize women’s health care and to share our resources!!!” said another.
Gwyneth’s friend and fellow actress January Jones is also a fan of the scan: “I did this too this year, was amazing!” she wrote.
Many people pointed out, however, that Gwyneth’s radiation-free scan was a luxury that many people can’t afford.
“Well, you’re rich. So, there’s that,” commented one user.
“It’s a shame all women can’t access this type of preventative care. Always good to talk about breast cancer and prompt people to check themselves,” wrote another.
It’s super good that Gwyneth is raising awareness for breast cancer screenings. It’s something we all need to remember!
