A creative mind and a pair of crafty hands are a great set of assets to have in life. Being able to make what you see in your mind’s eye, and those things you see being beautiful and unique , means you’re bound to leave plenty of wonderful crafts in your wake.
Well, we hope they’re wonderful, anyway. Sometimes they come out a little…interesting, and leave your audience rather divided. Sort of like the items on this list here.

I have mixed feelings about this. Reusing what would otherwise be trash? Great. Practicality for mailing? Not great. A message-in-a-bottle-type invitation could be very cute, but they’re better in glass bottles and hand-delivered. Don’t make a poor mail carrier have to juggle these.
“Gotta keep my gospel cd’s somewhere.”
As a certifiable lover of tacky things and someone who still collects CDs, this is actually great. While gospel is a great suggestion regarding what to fill this with, I would want to be on brand and stack it full of hardcore records.
Festive outfits.

There’s nothing quite like a hyper-personalized, handmade gift to really make the holidays special.

This is definitely a stylish way to make sure everyone around you feels like they’re being watched. As long as you’re not trying to be subtle about it, of course, that goes out the window when you throw this over your shoulder.

Admittedly, this one isn’t too terrible and is probably one of the better grass truck beds I’ve seen. No, I don’t know why I’ve seen so many that I can judge them now, but I sure wish I hadn’t.
“A bookshelf made out of Dominos boxes. Enjoy.”
Initial worries regarding the strength of this shelving unit made its way to the comments of the original post, but the creator assured us all that these boxes are rather strong, with just one of them able to hold “4000+ pages”. That’s a shelf that can handle just about anything then!
“Glad to see the fire alarms are up to code.”
To whoever made this sign, you know the purpose of a fire alarm isn’t to call 911, right? It’s to alert everyone else in the building that there’s a fire they should concern themselves with? Will 911 pass that message along to them or what?
“This beaver (?) car.”
Beaver is as good a guess as any when it comes to whatever this thing is supposed to be. It’s safe to assume that side window opens up and this vehicle is for a business, but I’m almost a little afraid to find out what exactly they sell.
“Stained Glass Angler Fish.”
Artisans out there who appreciate the horrors of the depths, I salute you. There aren’t many who choose to honor the frightening species that lurk about in the oceans, but look at the cool stuff that can be made in their image!

I looked at both the image and the title for some time trying to decide if it was worth it to make some ‘adorable/a-door-table’ pun, but that would mean needing to write a sentence in which I call this thing cute, which would be lying.
“This custom stand mixer they want $2700 for…”
Say what you want, but this is a beautifully done paint job. There’s some lady out there with a beach-themed kitchen who loves to bake who’s going to see this and go nuts over it, and pleasing that very-specific audience is all this artist needs.
“I made a snowman cheeseball.”
The delicately sliced, thin sliver of cucumber as a scarf is an excellent touch. In fact, he’s very well done in every regard, how could you expect anyone to want to take a knife to him just to eat his delicious body?
“Trying something different.”
Well, you tried. Not sure what the goal here was, but if it was just for looks, I’ll be the one to say that this experiment wasn’t really a success. If you want plants hanging from your ceiling, maybe just stick to fake vines and such.
“Self-made arcade machine at our barbershop. Emulates a lot of 8 and 16 bit games.”
There are a lot of elements happening here. Let’s name a few.
The base appears to be that of those old sewing machine tables, the frame around the screen is shoddily made at best, they only partially committed to sticker bombing it, and there’s an inexplicable piece of denim stapled onto the front.
The idea is cool though!

Yeah, we can tell it’s self-made, because no company in their right mind would ever want to mass produce something like this. I think if I were to walk into somebody’s home and see this, I would turn right back around and leave.
Using what nature gave you.
“I found a turtle shell visiting Texas, took it home and turned it into a planter 😀 Had to put in ‘string of turtles’ of course! Hope they hold up well!”
I see what they were going for. Really, I do. It just…is a little too off, y’know?

So safe that the person who took this photo apparently did so while running so they could avoid being in the same room as it for too long!
Really, though, who needs a ceiling fan that low? What are you doing to it down there?
“I make preserved spiderwebs!”
Now, this is unique! Finding full ones to preserve is probably rather difficult, and seeing as they’re so delicate, the preservation process is likely detailed. Every one produced will be unique, too, and that’s pretty dang cool!
“I made Road Skis that go 32 Mph.”
Look at that face, that’s a man who’s extremely proud of his creation and is excited to share it with the world. They genuinely look pretty solid, and like they’d be a ton of fun to ride.
When someone asked if you could fall on these, the creator replied, “Anything is possible with road skis!”
“Met this guy who had his wife’s eye professionally turned into a ring.”

I couldn’t find much information about this besides random claims made by people in the comments, so I’m just going to say that I really, truly hope this is a glass eye. I’m going to assume that to be fact lest I think about it too much.
