Going through a breakup is always difficult, no matter what side of the breakup you’re on. It must be even more difficult to go through one in the public eye with millions of fans wanting to know more details, which is exactly what Katy Perry had to deal with during her 2011 divorce from comedian Russell Brand, which she has opened up about in a new interview.
Katy Perry recently gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom.
Daisy is Katy’s first child with her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, whom Katy has been dating on and off since 2016.

However, when the couple ties the knot, it won’t be the first time that either of them has walked down the aisle. Orlando was once married to model Miranda Kerr.
Katy was married to comedian and actor Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
While Katy has been generally quiet on this relationship for the past few years, in a new interview with 60 Minutes Australia Katy has opened up about the experience, calling it “first breaking of my idealistic mind.”
Katy went on to describe the relationship as a tornado.
“I was having great success at 23, 24 and 25 and then I met someone that was interesting and stimulating. It was just like a tornado, it was everything happening at once,” Katy said of the brief marriage.
However, Katy says that her current relationship with Orlando is in a much better place.
Katy described the relationship as “a healthy frictional, very open, very communicative, nothing is swept under the mat type of relationship.”
