Even the most normal thing can look super strange at the right angle, or with the right lighting. Because life is just full of surprises and oddities waiting to be discovered, I guess.
Think you can tell where I’m going with this? That’s right, this is a list full of mostly normal things that look anything but, all because of circumstances .
The way it looks like there’s a giant, half-hidden tower on Google Maps.
I’m pretty sure there’s no actual tower there. It’s probably just the result of something getting in the way of one of the many composite shots that make up Street View. You know how it is.
Snail bread!
I’m not really sure this loaf of bread was supposed to look like a snail, but it really does. It also looks like it could be part of the hand of the person holding it (the “snail eyes” kind of look like fingers).
Giant Coke, or really tiny Jack Daniel’s?
I’m pretty sure it’s the latter. While I’ve literally never seen a bottle of whiskey that tiny, this looks like it would be the perfect proportions for a nice glass of whiskey and Coke. So, there’s that.
What happens when you put sun blocker on top of another sun blocker.
So, you use a sun blocker to keep the sun out of your face so that you don’t get distracted while diving, but then put another one on top so it makes a cool pattern that… would be totally distracting.
This beautiful rug… is actually a frosted sidewalk.
But you have to admit, it really does look like a rug with an intricate pattern on it. At least, at a glance. But I guess that’s what happens when there’s snow and ice anywhere.
“This cobweb took the same shape as these sign hooks.”
Even though I know this is nothing more than a wild coincidence, I still can’t help but think of it as a sign that spiders are smarter than we think. This is, after all, camouflage on a whole new level.
The way only half of this soda bottle is bubbling.
This time, I’d actually love to know why only half of this bottle of soda seems to be fizzing up. It probably has to do with the carbonation in it, and air pressure and whatnot. Science, man.

I mean, since the bulb burned out, it’s not really good for anything else anyway. I don’t know if it’s safe to keep pretty-but-burned-out lightbulbs as decorations, but I would really want to.
This statue that’s sitting on a building, for some reason.
Even though this statue is on the roof of the “Fine Art museum in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam,” (according to OP), it still seems so… out of place. Like, of all the things to find on a rooftop.
“I opened some cheese and it was the taste tested block!”
Finding a hole in your apple? Concerning. Finding a hole in your (otherwise sealed) block of cheese? Rare. Definitely not the kind of thing you’d expect to see every time you buy cheese.
“Green lines on my notebook under a microscope.”
Pretty much everything looks super weird when it’s zoomed in a whole bunch. And the lines on this notebook are absolutely no exception. It’s almost too hard to even tell what we’re looking at.
This box’s face says it all.
When you take a picture of a box at juuuust the right angle, it’ll definitely look like it has a face. And in the case of this box, it seems pretty unimpressed with us right now.

During the month of October, a sight like this is perfectly normal. Any other month, and it’s kind of terrifying. By the time someone remembers to take them down, it’ll probably be time to put them up again.

As much as I definitely wouldn’t want to wash my hair with radioactive shampoo, I would also really love to wash it with shampoo that glows. Maybe it’ll make your hair all shiny.

I have no idea what’s happening here, and I kind of don’t want to know. Sometimes, the best part of a weird thing is not knowing why it’s so weird. It just has to exist.
“This frozen spider web on my car mirror.”
It’s amazing how a little bit of snow can turn a regular old spider web into something strangely bougie. Like, it looks like something you could wear around your neck at a gala.
Is this piece of beef… levitating?
Sure, eating a really well-prepared cut of meat can make you feel like you’re levitating, but if your actual meat did that… there might be some trouble.
Luckily, this picture is just a case of weird lighting.
