Everyone appreciates a good joke , right?
Well, I mean, it can be hard to appreciate a joke sometimes if it’s at your expense. I totally get that. But, fortunately, none of the pranks you’re about to see are at your expense, so feel free to enjoy them.
“My best friend’s April fools prank.”
The whole universe is nostalgic for the days of Blockbuster Video — the movie selection, the snacks, and even the weird smell. I have a feeling that this sign is going to get people very excited, and then very disappointed.
“Elaborate office prank.”
This is elaborate in that it required a great many thumbtacks to be arrayed across the keys. But it’s hardly elaborate in how it’s going to play out. Like, does the person they’re pranking type in the dark or something?
“Colleague is out for 2 weeks, so our prank wars continue. I might add a couple more details.”
I’m not sure if I’m more impressed by the prank or by how much identifying information had to be redacted from this photo.
“Google gets pranked.”
Someday, every business, even the most lucrative ones, will go bankrupt and be replaced by a Spirit Halloween store. It’s as inevitable as the passage of time. It isn’t a matter of if, but a matter of when.
“April fools.”
This is fantastic. It would be a pretty good prank with just the corner of the bill, but adding the trollface to the affair provides an extra way to make the pranked person hate their entire life.
“The best harmless prank ever.”
I love wordplay, even when it’s kind of dumb. If you start humming “Feliz Navidad”, you can almost incorporate “Centennial Chiropractice and Massage Therapy” into the chorus, in place of “I want to wish you a merry Christmas.”
“My son drew this in 5th grade. Perhaps I’m biased but I thought it was clever and funny.”
This is a legitimately funny cartoon, especially for a fifth grader to come up with. I could almost see it in a Far Side compilation.

This one is simple, effective and harmless. Those fake cockroaches look real enough, didn’t cost her hubby much money, and will be easy to clean up. That is, of course, assuming she doesn’t see this and simply burn the house down.

I like the simplicity of this prank, but I find it hard to believe that this person was flummoxed for an hour without even checking the bottom of the mouse.
“Mein lokale ice cream shop has jokes in two languages.”
This ice cream shop shows up pretty regularly on Reddit, and for good reason. Its dad jokes are on another level. I mean, this one incorporates two different languages.
“For April Fools, a teacher told her class that the government imposed the wearing of shower caps as an extra safety measure.”
Most people are cooperative folks who are willing to do whatever it takes in the name of safety. Apparently one teacher took advantage of this fact.

In our world of connected devices, it isn’t inconceivable that a paper towel dispenser might work this way. It must be hilarious to hear coworkers demanding towels from a device that has zero microchips in it.
“Someone at Amazon has jokes.”
This is great because the description isn’t wrong, exactly, but it’s still way off. I don’t know if the real Saddam Hussein actually did star in any movies, but if he did, they probably aren’t as fun as this one.
“Now this is cruel.”
I think this encapsulates, in one image, why office work can be such a drag. I can only imagine the endorphin rush that a box of donuts might cause, followed by the crushing realization that the donuts aren’t there.
“I do love the jokes about my tooth and my girlfriend made this and sent it to me I died. I hope you all enjoy it.”
If you have a distinctive physical feature, you may as well lean into it. Either way, your significant other is bound to make it a thing.

Imagine perusing the aisles at Walmart with the sneaking suspicion that someone is watching you. A quick glance to your left reveals that Baby Yoda looks rather derpy, and is totally checking you out.
“Still my best April Fools prank I performed on my wife. Broke old car window, rolled her window down, scattered glass around vehicle and staged the area. She wasn’t amused.”
There’s a line between ‘prank’ and ‘stunt that causes a divorce’, and I think this guy just crossed it.
“Had to take down my medicine cabinet to paint, so we left a fun surprise for the next homeowners.”
When you’re renovating a house, it’s practically a requirement to leave some evil somewhere hidden for a future homeowner to discover.
