But before planes, travelers could expect to spend up to ten days at sea for the same trip.
Venus Aerospace wants to slash this time to a jaw-dropping 60 minutes, a move that would redefine the meaning of “quick getaway.”
The secret behind this travel revolution is the Venus Detonation Ramjet 2000 lb Thrust Engine, which allows the jet to reach speeds of Mach 6, or 3,600 miles per hour.

For comparison, the now-retired Concorde once held the record for the fastest flight across the Atlantic at just under three hours.
