One of the most important things you need to do before you embark on a trip is to pack your luggage. It’s a thankless task, but somebody has to do it. Am I right?
But have you ever thought about how your bags get on the plane after all that packing? Well, you’re about to find out. This baggage handler is spilling all the beans, and we all better take notes. Let’s go.
Isn’t it hard to watch your bag disappear on that conveyor belt?

I mean, are you ever going to see it again? Or will it vanish into the abyss? Well, let’s hope for the former, alright. Anyway, a Vancouver airport worker recently revealed some of the secrets of baggage handling, and it’s pretty interesting.
Check this out.

A TikToker going by the name @djsugue is giving us a behind-the-scenes look at where our luggage goes and just how hard it is for the workers handling it. Since he works at the Vancouver airport, he sees many people traveling to Whistler in the winter to enjoy the best ski resorts.
Well, that’s a bit of a problem.

As it turns out, there are lots of ski and snowboard bags to load and unload on the planes. Those are pretty much the hardest items to load onto the plane. I suppose it has to do with their size and how awkward it must be to stack them all.
To really recognize that you have to see this video.
Whoa! What did I tell you, huh? I don’t know about you, but to me, that job looks pretty hard. I can’t imagine doing that all day long. I think I would be spent just after loading just a few of these heavy bags.
No wonder this guy takes frequent breaks.
Honestly, I wouldn’t last very long doing this, ha, ha. Thank goodness for the snake belt. That’s all I can say. Without it, it must be even harder to load the plane. Check out this cool video here, which shows you the difference between no belt and belt, and see for yourself.
Who loves to play Tetris?
Well, if you’re a fan, you’re going to get such a kick out of this next video. I guess it helps to pass the time if you do it like this, huh? I don’t blame this guy for having a bit of fun with stacking these bags here.
Here’s a surprising fact:

This YVR worker has now amassed a TikTok following of more than 379,000 and gained 17-million likes from sharing what his job is like, ha, ha. Whoa! I guess other people find what he does just as fascinating. Am I right?
I mean it’s quite mesmerizing to watch him stack those bags, no?

I wonder just how fast does that slide really move? It’s one thing to watch it in fast-motion and another doing it live. No matter how you look at it, it’s quite the workout, no? As I said before, I don’t think I would be able to handle that.
So here’s the thing:

The next time you go on that ski vacation, take a moment to appreciate those people who load the plane with all the ski gear. As we can clearly see here, it isn’t the easiest job. I loved seeing this behind the scenes because now I have a whole other understanding of what goes on before the plane takes off. And I hope you do, too.
