Let me ask you a question: Who’s your favorite superhero? It’s a tough one because there are so many good ones. But I grew up watching Batman movies, so he’s definitely my number one favorite besides Iron Man .
However, I’ve never had a themed birthday party before. So when I found out about this woman’s Batman-themed surprise party , I was totally floored.
Maryland-based cosplayer Sparky Mularkey is really into comic books.
When she was a child, she always wanted a Batman-themed birthday party. Sadly, she never got her birthday wish because she was told Batman was for boys only. Well, not until now, that is.
Sparky’s boyfriend knew how much she wanted to celebrate her 32nd birthday in a big way.
You see, the number 32 is Sparky’s favorite number. So he decided to throw her a surprise birthday party that was all Batman-themed.
But hold on a minute, this wasn’t just any birthday party, this was a Batman extravaganza.
Sparky actually forgot her own birthday because she was exhausted from work, but her boyfriend definitely didn’t. He set up an elaborate celebration and invited all her friends to take part in it.
Here’s what happened when Sparky arrived at her boyfriend’s place.
She realized that he decorated the whole space in vintage Batman memorabilia. Wow! Needless to say, this pretty much floored her, and she even shed a few happy tears. Kapow!
What a way to celebrate your 32nd birthday, huh?
He even set up a photo booth so everybody could partake in some Batman-themed picture taking. There were outfits and props and loads of fun. I’m sure of that.
And, that’s not all.
When Sparky ventured downstairs to the basement, there was more fun to have. Her boyfriend set up a bunch of cool games for everyone to play. There was the “Pin the Nipples on the Batman” game and “Bane’s Beer Pong Blitz,” ha, ha!
This carnival extravaganza also included a Riddler scavenger hunt.
Sparky’s clever boyfriend hid riddles all over the house. So she got a total kick out of seeing people looking around, turning things over, and trying to solve all the riddles.
Sparky’s favorite part of the whole surprise party was the Joker Batarang challenge.
Her boyfriend actually built a “Turntable Of Justice.” The green balloons contained so-called “Joker gas,” and you lost points if you hit them. OMG, that sounds like so much fun!
Apparently, it took this guy weeks to plan this whole thing out and keep it a secret from Sparky.
What a guy, huh? Honestly, I’ve never had a surprise birthday party, much less something as elaborate as this. Has your partner ever gone all out like this for you?
