Shannen Doherty’s friend and Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Jason Priestley has broken his silence about Shannen’s stage four cancer diagnosis.
Shannen revealed on Tuesday that she has been diagnosed with stage four cancer.
“I’m stage four,” Shannen told ABC news anchor Amy Robach.

Now, Shannen’s co-star and friend Jason Priestley is breaking his silence about Shannen’s terminal illness.
Speaking to People Jason said the news was “heartbreaking.”
Jason starred alongside Shannen on the original “Beverly Hills, 90210,” playing twins, Brandon and Brenda Walsh.
The two have maintained their friendship throughout the years.
“I reached out to her yesterday when the news broke,” he told the publication at the Monte Carlo Television Festival 60th Anniversary Celebration this past Wednesday.
“She’s overwhelmed with well wishers and with people reaching out to her,” he explained.
“I haven’t heard back from her yet, but I’m sure that I will very soon.”
“Shannen was a big part of my life,” he continued.
“Shannen and I will always have a bond that is very meaningful.”
“I’m very heartbroken about the news and I wish her and her family the best in this very difficult time,” he concluded.
