Ever since I started collecting plants , I’ve been interested in using unique planters — not that there’s anything wrong with using a plain planter .
But, if you can introduce something more special into your decor, whether it’s indoor or outdoor, it’s all good in my book. So, when I heard that people are turning old birdcages into planters , I was very intrigued.
When you think about it, a bird cage serves as a perfect vehicle to grow some plants, no?

It has big enough space that you can easily grow at least one awesome plant, if not a few. Take a look at this.

Imagine hanging something as nice as this in your garden? Oh my goodness, I absolutely love it. I wish I kept my old birdcage from when I was a kid!
On second thought, my old birdcage wasn’t as pretty as this one.

So, I suppose I should make a trip to a thrift store to look for some. I hope I can find one that looks vintage. That would be perfect for our garden.
You can even take your bird cage indoors.
