In an interview with “Allure”, Kim said, “[Kanye and I] talk about it all the time, about not getting too much and trying to be as grounded and well rounded as possible.”

Instead, they choose to spend quality time together on special occasions.

In a radio interview with “The Kyle and Jackie O Show”, Mila said that she even wants her children to think they’re poor.

They’ve even had to beg their parents to get on board with their new traditions.
“We’d like to take a charitable donation, to the Children’s Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want. That’s our new tradition.”
The reason behind this is because she’s tired of overdoing Christmas.
“We just stopped because there’s so much happening in the world where people don’t have anything,” she shared .
“And we said, ‘Why don’t we just make this about other people?’ And they were amazing about it.”
Talk about a great way to teach her kids about giving back!

Okay, so Sandra Bullock does give her kids gifts for Christmas, but her rule is only three.

Dr. Phil knows a thing or two about parenting.
On his show, he said , “Instead of tangible gifts, how about spending some time together?”
He added: “be careful that you aren’t teaching them that emotions can be healed by a trip to the mall.”
