The internet has become a place where people can anonymously ask for advice .
One popular advice platform is Reddit’s Am I The A-Hole? where people ask other users if they were on the wrong side of an argument and basically acted like a jerk.
One dad’s question about making his wife pay for their baby’s formula set off the Twitter army and they agreed that yes, he is a jerk.
These responses are peak internet sassiness.
Breastfeeding is a lot of work, but sadly most people don’t realize this.

Breastfeeding can take a huge physical and emotional toll on a mother, not to mention how time-consuming it is.
While there are a lot of benefits to breastfeeding for mom and baby, there are definitely some difficulties that come along with it, too.
In a recent Reddit post, a dad asked if his wife should pay for the price of formula.

The dad explained that his wife had been breastfeeding for six months but had decided that it was time to wean their baby for, “basically no reason,” according to the dad’s post.
Her decision led to a debate about the family’s grocery budget.

He feels that the money for formula should come out of her personal spending money because, “… she is the one making that decision [to stop breastfeeding].”
However, she feels that the cost of formula should come out of the family’s grocery budget.

This dad wanted to know if he was an A-hole for asking her to buy the formula since he didn’t have a say in the decision and their budget is already tight.
As you can imagine, Twitter had some thoughts on this issue.
The internet did not hold back when it came to this topic.

One user suggested that the dad should try to feed himself using his own body. Oof. That’s sassy.
A lot of people wondered how this guy became a father.

Sometimes people’s true colors don’t come out until they have kids… unfortunately.
If you want to make it about money, buddy, let’s talk about money.

Since this dad seems so determined to stick to their budget, some people suggested that the mom should start billing him for all the hours she spent breastfeeding. Ha!
At the end of the day, she’s the one breastfeeding and it’s up to her.

Breastfeeding can hurt, cause infections, throws your hormones off, and can totally mess with your metabolism. If a mom says she’s done, respect that.
The Twitter army schooled this dad.
It looks like he actually got a lot of backlash from this post and ended up deleting his account. The lesson here is don’t ask the internet if you can’t handle the clap-backs.
