I think I’ve mentioned once or twice how much I love beautiful bathrooms. There’s something about gorgeous bathroom design that speaks to me.
On the other hand, I’m also quick to point out when bathroom design goes awry. Do you feel the same way? If you do, I bet you’ll be very baffled by these rather unusual bathroom designs here.

1. This Carpeted Bathroom
There is one thing I would never put in my bathroom, and that is carpet. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to clean something like this. And on top of that, it could be prone to mold. Ugh!
2. This Weird Combo
Is this a bathroom or a kitchen, or is it both? Why would anyone think this was an acceptable combination is totally beyond my comprehension. And again, there’s carpet there, too. What in the heck?

Speaking of unusual urinals, how is this close for comfort here? Would you use this urinal knowing that at any given moment, someone else might want to use the other one? Do it, I dare you, ha, ha!
5. This Tight Squeeze
Now that we’re on the subject of tight places, how do you like this toilet and shower situation here? I think using this toilet properly is going to be a tight squeeze, so good luck with that.
6. This Bathroom Wall Paint
OMG, who exactly picked this particular bathroom wall paint color? Perhaps they’re color blind or something like that. I, for one, would be very wary of going to use this public bathroom. I think I would just hold it in.
7. This Carpeted Mistake
This person’s father recently renovated his bathroom. And to the horror of his daughter, he put carpet on the floor. You already know how I feel about this carpet situation here, so I’m going to just shake my head in disbelief, ha, ha!
8. This Mirror
If you despise mirrors and hate looking at yourself in them, you’ll probably love this one. I have no idea how anybody can see themselves through this bizarre mirror here. Whoever came up with this idea must’ve been out of their mind.
9. This Brilliant Design
This house has a bathroom without a door. It’s the first thing you see when you enter the house. Hmm, somehow I don’t think this is the most attractive idea in the world, huh?
10. This Toilet
Is it just me, or is this toilet facing the wrong way? Why would anyone design this bathroom in this way? I don’t get it. Can somebody explain to me the logic behind this bathroom, please? I’m so confused.
11. This Mirrored Nightmare
I don’t know about you, but I would feel quite strange using this mirrored bathroom. Perhaps I’m not as vain as I thought. I don’t need to see myself from all of these angles, thank you very much.
12. This Ceiling
This guy’s dad’s bathroom is so small they actually had to cut holes in the ceiling over the toilet and sink so his 6’1″ son can stand up. OMG, that’s so sad and hilarious at the same time.
13. This Under-The-Stairs Bathroom
Can you believe this bathroom here? This under-the-stairs bathroom has a partially installed toilet and a carpeted wall. Did I mention the toilet is diagonal, too? Um, what? I don’t think this makes any sense whatsoever.
Okay, I’ve got to say I think I’ve seen enough here.
Now I want to just go back to my cozy little bathroom. I don’t need anything fancy. I just need a room that won’t give me a nightmare. Do you get what I’m saying here?
