With Easter just around the corner, you might be thinking of fun ways to decorate your house for the holiday. I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to spend a bundle to do so.
There are a lot of easy ways to make your house festive on a budget and many of them can be done with just a few items from the dollar store.
1. Mason Jar Crafts

If you already have some empty mason jars around your house then this little DIY project is perfect for you. How cute are these for Easter?
2. Bunny Butt Pots
Ha, ha, ha. How funny is this? If you can find some cute fluffy bunnies like these then just stuff them into flower pots and voilà!
3. Chalkboard Easter Eggs

These awesome chalkboard Easter eggs will make everyone smile with their sweet messages. Get your hands on some chalkboard paint and go to town.
4. Newspaper Easter Egg Wreath
How about this for an unusual Easter egg wreath? You can get fake eggs and just wrap them up in newspapers. This is so neat.
5. Three-Tiered Easter Farmhouse Tray
This tray was made using stuff from Dollar Tree and doesn’t it look absolutely fabulous? Quite fancy for something done with a limited budget.
6. Eggshell Tealight Centrepiece

I never would have thought of making a centerpiece consisting of broken eggshells. But I gotta say, this one looks too good to pass up.
7. Burlap Easter Bunnies

If you can find burlap with polka dots, that’s amazing. But if not, you can just cut out some and glue them on. Isn’t this cute?
8. Easter Shadow Box
It’s easy to create a simple but oh-so-pretty Easter-inspired shadow box like this. Get a dollar store frame, carrots, and a few other items.
9. Cotton Bunny Easter Garland

Here’s a fun little craft project you can do with your kids while they’re at home. All kids love making cut-outs, no? I think so.
10. Origami Easter Bunnies Garland

I remember how much I loved origami as a kid. Whatever happened to that? These Easter bunnies are absolutely adorable. Aren’t they? The cutest.
11. Colorful Easter Wreath
Here’s another great idea for an Easter inspired wreath that was made with all the stuff from the dollar store. How lovely is this?
12. Moss Easter Bunny Decor
If you can get your hands on some moss (either fresh or faux), you can make this amazing Easter bunny out of it. Love this!
13. Easter Bunny Napkins

If you absolutely don’t have anything Easter-related in your house you can just make napkins into cute Easter bunnies if you follow this tutorial .
14. Bunny Planter
All you need for this project is a store-bought succulent planter. Add ears using felt and use paint pens to draw a nose. Too cute!
15. Hula Hoop Wreath

Can you believe this wreath is made from a hula hoop? I would have never guessed. In addition to the hoop, you’ll need spray paint and some faux greenery from the dollar store. On Instagram @leahsanney confirmed this is, “A super easy DIY project”.
See? I told you there was no need to spend a lot of money on Easter decorations if you’re creative enough.
