Simon Cowell is speaking out after an unfortunate accident which left the 60-year-old with part of his back broken.
According to a statement from his rep, the electric bike accident took place at Simon’s Mailbu home while he was testing out the new ride with his partner, Lauren Silverman, and their six-year-old son, Eric.
Simon Cowell is known for being a ~tough~ critic, to say the least.
Where would competitive singing shows be without their own mean “Simon” judge?
I mean, contestants would probably a lot happier and there would be less dreams crushed, but , you know what I mean!
Now, Simon is breaking his silence after it was revealed the 60-year-old broke his back while testing out a new electric bike.

Simon’s rep explained that Simon was “trying this new bike,” when he felt and landed on his back.
“He was in shock and in massive amounts of pain.”
“Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time,” Simon tweeted.
“I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages.”
He concluded by thanking the hospital staff who had been taking care of him since the accident.
“And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone.”
Simon’s rep told *Page Six* he “went with him to the hospital and has been allowed in briefly to see him. He’s doing okay in the circumstances.”
We’re wishing Simon a speedy recovery!
