Honestly, if it weren’t for the Discovery Channel, I would be significantly less intelligent. Every bit of random knowledge I’ve ever shared with anyone has been a direct result of me watching the Discovery Channel when I was a kid.
I owe them everything.
Jesse James then:

Jesse James — the true bad-boy of the Discovery Channel.
Since Motorcycle Mania , he went on to appear on other shows like Monster Garage and History Of The Chopper .
Jesse James now:

After Jesse’s infamous relationship with Sandra Bullock collapsed in 2010, he married his now-wife, Alexis DeJoria, in 2013.
He also opened his own custom firearms company, “Jesse James Firearms Unlimited”.
Les Stroud then:

Les Stroud, AKA, Survivorman is the only reason I could possibly survive if I got stranded in the wilderness.
Emphasis on “possibly”.
Les Stroud now:

Survivorman is still going strong — Les is still out here teaching us how to live in the wilderness, and on top of that, he’s a musician now.
This man is a jack of all trades!
Ben Bailey then:

For many of us, it would have been a dream come true to sit in the Cash Cab with Ben Bailey — there’s really no easier way to make money.
Ben Bailey now:

Ben is actually a stand-up comedian, nowadays.
After Cash Cab came to an end, he continued to pursue his career in comedy and hosted the game show Who’s Still Standing for a period of time.
Scottie Chapman then:

If you remember Myth Busters — which, how could you not ? — Then you probably remember Scottie Chapman, the strong, female metal worker.
Scottie Chapman now:

After 18 years of being Myth Busters designated metal worker, Scottie quit her job to join an entirely different field: Dental Hygiene.
Christopher Lowell then:

Christopher Lowell was a Discovery channel icon in the ’90s, with his hit TV shows like, Interior Motives, The Christopher Lowell Show , and It’s Christopher Lowell .
Christopher Lowell now:

After Christopher stepped away from television, he decided to focus on running his business, Christopher Lowell & Associates, as well as writing his own books .
Paul Teutul Sr. then:

This man was definitely not one to be messed with!
American Chopper took Discovery Channel by storm — it was a huge hit that made Paul incredibly popular.
Paul Teutul Sr. now:

I gotta admit, he looks way less scary now.
After American Chopper , Paul went on to create a whole other show with his son, Mikey, called Orange County Choppers .
Mike Rowe then:

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a giant crush on Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs . He may have been a little bit old for me at the time, but I didn’t care. The heart wants what it wants.
Mike Rowe now:

After Dirty Jobs , Mike appeared on another show called, Somebody’s Gotta Do It .
Most recently, he wrote his own novel called, The Way I Heard It .
Well, there you have it! If this doesn’t make you feel old, I don’t know what will.
Let us know what you think of all these Discovery Channel star transformations!
