Well, it seems like we’re going to talk Game Of Thrones yet again. So, strap o… er, I mean, strap in and get your stuff together, because this one is going to be a doozy.

Alright, now they have to be gone.
Well, folks, it seems that the Night King’s life has come to an end. All thanks to Arya, that murderous little scamp.
One stabbing in the Godswood put an end to that guy’s tyranny.
So what’s left?
Well, as of now, we have one more thing to decide: who shall sit on the Iron Throne. But, honestly, there might be one more pressing matter they need to get out of the way.
And that matter is Cersei Lannister.
She’s probably the last thing you’d really call a “villain” in Game Of Thrones since the stabbing of ol’ Nighty.
Cersei needs to come up with a new plan, and quickly.
She was going to let the White Walkers decimate all her enemies and then just totally murder anyone who was left, but it looks like that plan went to poop.
So, if she’s going to die this series, how is she going to go?
Because let’s face it, she’s probably going to kick the bucket.
The whole world is against her now, and she’s got dragons and armies that are going to be knocking on her door pretty darn soon.
One second though, because we need to discuss something first.
Before we talk about how she might die, let’s talk about the prediction for her life. It’s called the valonqar prophecy, and it might just reveal who might become the queen’s undoing.
Let’s go back to Season 5.
Where a young Cersei goes to see Maggie the Frog.
Amongst other, already true things, she predicts that Cersei will be queen until “there comes another, younger and more beautiful, to cast you down and take all that you hold dear”.
You immediately think Daenerys, right?
And that certainly is a possibility. Right now, she’s probably got the highest Vegas odds of winning the Throne, except for maybe Jon Snow. Then again, which one of them truly has the dragons?
But wait, there’s more.
Because in the books, the prophecy continues. Maggy says: “the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.” But what could “valonqar” mean…
Oh yeah, it means “little brother”.
Which opens up a whole world of possibilities. Alright, well let’s look into how Cersei will die right now, and by whose hand.
We already know it’s pretty likely Cersei’s not surviving, based on the show and the prophecy.
We covered one theory with “Daenerys kills Cersei” but let’s look at some more interesting thoughts on how the queen might kick the bucket.
Tyrion will kill Cersei.
This is the most literal translation of the prophecy (Tyrion is Cersei’s little brother) and it’s the one Cersei believes.
She’s had this sneaking suspicion that Tyrion would be her undoing throughout the series.
Jamie will kill Cersei
Some people think that it’ll be her twin brother and lover that brings her down.
Some think that it’ll be because she’s doing something so crazy that she needs to be killed, such as trying to burn down King’s Landing.
Sansa is going to kill Cersei.
These two go way back. If the prophecy holds true, Sansa could at least play a major part in dethroning Cersei. She is younger and therefore, could be “more beautiful”.
Although someone younger did technically already dethrone Cersei.
The prophecy could have been talking about Margaery, and if so that part of the prophecy already came true.
Honestly, who knows at this point.
Arya will kill Cersei
Considering Arya is already on kind of a villain killin’ streak, this one isn’t so farfetched.
Also, I’m almost certain that Arya would love to get a piece of that Lannister rear end. Not like that, in a murdery way.
Jon Snow will kill Cersei.
This one is, in my opinion, fairly unlikely, but Jon Snow is kind of the de facto “protagonist” for this season, so maybe he will kill the final big baddie.
Some are mad he didn’t defeat the Night King, so maybe they’ll throw him a bone.
She won’t die and will win the Iron Throne.
This one seems unlikely, but it’s my secret wish. What? I just really hope a Lannister sits on the Iron Throne. I’d love it to be Tyrion, but if it isn’t, Cersei is a nice participation trophy.
