One of my favorite places in my new house is the bathroom. There’s just something about that space that, if done right, can really make or break your decision to like a place. I mean, don’t you always admire gorgeous bathrooms in other people’s houses?
So I thought it would be fun to give you some great ideas to overhaul your bathroom and make it as pretty and functional as possible.
1. Display Those Towels In Style

So why hang those towels the old-fashioned way on an ugly rod or a plain hanger when you can get hanging baskets instead?
2. DIY Towel Rope

Speaking of storing your towels in a different way, how about this clever and cute idea? It seems so fun and super easy to do, too.
3. Towel Rack

Okay, here’s one more idea for your towels. Why not use a wine rack to stack ’em up? I think this is not only pretty but useful.
4. Unclutter Your Space

Finding space for all those clunky appliances and hair tools can be a tall order. That’s why I love this hanging wire bin idea so much.
5. Consistency Is Key

There’s nothing more messy about a bathroom than a bunch of random items all over the place. Stay consistent by storing your stuff in matching containers.
6. Re-purpose Stuff

Or better yet, why not try to repurpose stuff like cute painted mason jars to store all your necessities like q-tips, lotions, and powders. Looks so chic!
7. Have Fun With Decor

The bathroom doesn’t have to be a sad place you’re trying to avoid. So why not have some fun while decorating it? So adorable!
8. Add More Functionality

If cheekiness is not your thing, there are other ways you can make your space more functional like using this toilet paper holder shelf.
9. Add Special Touches

If you really want to add some uniqueness to your bathroom give it that special look using AirStone and some adhesive. This looks so impressive.
10. Reading Space

Are you one of those people who likes to read in the bathroom? I don’t get it but okay. A magazine rack is all you need.
11. Frame It

The best way to make your plain mirror pop is to add a pretty and rustic frame around it. See how it quickly transformed the whole space.
12. Add Accents

Another way to make the room even more special is to by adding a pop of color with an accent wall and some cool thrift store pieces like in this bathroom by Vintage Revivals .
13. DIY Trash Bin

Why settle for that typical cheap-looking wire trash basket when you can easily transform it with some rope to make it look farmhouse chic.
14. Add Some Glam

And while you’re in that DIY head space, how cool is this idea? Such a fun way to add more pizzazz to that ordinary tissue holder.
15. Tie Dye Shower Curtain

And if you’re feeling really crafty, head over to A Beautiful Mess for step-by-step instructions on how to DIY this awesome shower curtain.
16. Create Surprise

Why not make your guests feel more welcome in your home. Every time they open up a drawer they’ll see a pretty pattern instead of plain white.
17. Give It A Paint Job

Not everyone can afford to replace expensive bathroom pieces like the vanity, but a quick paint job can also do the trick .
18. Add Some Fun

It’s hard to make a small space really stand out so adding a fun sign like this one can make all the difference. Show your personality!

21. Change Things Up

So everyone has seen those typical chrome fixtures that almost every bathroom has. But just changing those up can make such a bold statement. How cool!
22. Be Clever

You don’t have to display everything in a typical way, either. By hiding air freshener b***s out of sight, you’ll create a fresh feel with style.
23. Floor Tile Stencil

There’s nothing more impressive in a cute bathroom than a pretty tile. But to save money, you can just do a stencil instead. Great idea!
