If there’s one thing that’s a near certainty in the digital age , it’s that wild parties will always be well documented thanks to camera phones and social media .
That’s what Florida police are going on as they investigate the fallout from a wild house party in Panama City. Upwards of 200 teens are believed to have broken into an $8 million mansion to throw their rager.
Fortunately, police have plenty of evidence to investigate.
Police became aware of the party after a noise complaint was called in.
As might be expected at a 200-person house party, neighbors called police to complain about the noise emanating from the $8 million mansion.
Police responded to the scene, but it was mostly empty by the time they arrived. But the partygoers left all sorts of evidence in their wake, posting the experience all over social media.

Partygoers turned the foyer into a boxing ring.
One of the videos shows two young men duking it out in the foyer as a crowd eggs them on, recording the whole thing on their phones. It doesn’t appear to be a random fight that broke out, evidenced by the fact that both combatants are wearing boxing gloves and (poorly) following the rules and conventions of boxing.
They weren’t shy about documenting the whole event.
Even though the party kicked off with an illegal act of breaking and entering, partygoers didn’t seem too concerned with showing their faces on camera. This guy has either been a part of multiple championship teams or he found these rings among the homeowner’s possessions.
They made use of the home’s considerable amenities.
Videos of the party give a sense of how large and well-appointed the property is, but this Zillow listing for the house shows how opulent it truly is. According to WJHG-TV , the property owners were out of town when the party took place.
They didn’t show much respect for the property.
Aside from the aforementioned boxing match, videos show partygoers disrespecting the property. They crowded common areas, toyed with the homeowners’ possessions, and generally showed a lack of regard for the property. There’s also the fact that they, y’know, broke into the place to begin with.
There are some clear images of the party.
Most of the videos are poor quality, shot in low light by cameras that were moving around quickly. But images shared by the sheriff’s office show that at least a few partygoers took the time to pose for actual photographs.
Long story short: it was a total mess.
Based on the videos and pics shared on Facebook by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, it’s clear that the party was a huge rager thrown by teenagers who possess very little chill. One can only imagine how sticky the floors were after they left.
Once the police showed up, everyone left.
One video shows the immediate aftermath of the police arriving. Partygoers quickly exit the party, hoping that no one will catch them on a video that will later be shared to Facebook by the police.
Police say they’ve identified some of the attendees, but are appealing to the public for more information.

The sheriff’s office dropped a few truth bombs on any attendees who might be reading: social media isn’t private, people will snitch and violators will, more likely than not, be caught.
They’re asking for anyone who has info on the party to contact the sheriff’s office or Crime Stoppers if they’d prefer to remain anonymous.
There are a few lessons here.
Most of us enjoy a good party from time to time, but this utter debacle of a party provides us with a few teachable moments: first off, don’t break into someone’s house to throw a party. And if you have the homeowner’s permission to be there, the least you can do is be respectful of their stuff.
