Honestly, I s**k at DIY projects . I used to be so good at it as a child, so I really don’t know what happened. I guess I just lack the time and patience these days.
However, I don’t know what the excuse is for these people below because they should stay away from any do-it-yourself projects as far as they can. If they don’t, they surely end up on the famous subreddit “DiWHY,” ha, ha! Check out these total failures and have a good laugh.

1. These Christmas Ornaments
OMG, is this guy serious? What in the heck was this lady thinking. “They’re sealed with epoxy they won’t smell.” Um, you lost me once I read that. This wins the internet for the weirdest DIY Christmas ornament idea. Am I right?
2. This Baby Doll Tree
Have you heard of those gem trees people buy? I had one, and I really liked it. However, I don’t get the same warm feeling inside when I look at this version. In fact, it’s doing quite the opposite and totally creeping me out.
3. These Odd Lamps
Hmm, I don’t know about you but using a cheese grater as a lamp is quite odd, no? I mean, something is charming about it, but still, I don’t think it’s my idea of pretty decor. But if you’re going for that rustic feel, then go for it.

If you’re into the unusual, you may get a kick out of this Etsy listing here. Somebody used recycled Barbie and Ken doll heads to embellish these straws here. I don’t know exactly why, but I guess this must appeal to someone. I wonder if they sold any. What do you think, huh?
5. This Toilet Bench
I guess somebody had to think quickly on their feet when they were told to build a bench. However, at least they could have painted the toilets with some funky colors. As it stands, it looks sloppy and lazy. That’s all. I guess you can sit on the bench and use it when nature calls, too. LOL!
6. This Coffee Table
This isn’t exactly what I meant when I said I wanted an “open concept” living room, ha, ha. In fact, I have no idea what this is. I don’t know about you, but this could be quite a hazard. I wouldn’t walk around in the dark in this living room, ha, ha.
7. These Stairs
Look at this genius here. He’s so proud to show off the floating stairs he designed in his house. They might look cool, but good luck walking down them, eh? I guess I would just get stuck upstairs for the rest of my life.
8. This Paint Job
Can you believe somebody actually approved this DIY paint job for the entire building complex? I mean, what the heck? Is it just me, or does it make you think of p**p? Why did they have to pick brown as the color of choice, huh?
9. This Plywood Kitchen
Are you serious? Why in the heck would anybody make kitchen cabinets with exposed plywood? This is something you don’t see every day, huh? I don’t know about you, but I’m not a fan of this idea here. Not at all.
10. This DIY Sofa
Have you ever seen a sofa made out of water bottles? I can definitely say I haven’t. As cool as this might sound, I doubt it would be all that comfortable to sit on. What do you think? Would you give it a go? I’ll pass, ha, ha.
11. This Pool Idea
I’ve always wanted to have a pool in my backyard. However, I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like this. How did they even do that? I don’t understand it, yet I’m so intrigued by it. What do you think of this idea?
12. This Door Table
If you have a spare door laying around, why not put it to some good use, huh? What would you do with it? Well, these folks decided to turn it into a table, and I’m so baffled. You can’t exactly use it to serve anything on it, right? So what’s the point?
13. This Bathroom Aesthetic
I think if somebody is going to re-do their bathroom all by themselves, they should really do better than this. Don’t you think so too? I mean, I don’t understand what’s going on here and what’s up with the black toilet? I don’t get it.
14. This Dryer Fluff Sweater
I found this on Reddit and the caption read, “I made a sweater out of dryer fluff.” The only question that comes to my mind is “why?” Nobody would wear this unless they were auditioning for the sequel to Mad Max . Am I right?

OMG, what the heck is that? I feel so bad for this man. Why in the world would this lady crochet dolls like that? If I opened a closet in the middle of the night, they would definitely give me a heart attack.

Speaking of creepy baby dolls, here’s another one for you. How would you like to use this night light in your room? Um, no thank you. I want to have sweet dreams and not nightmares. Next.
17. This Fake Library
At first, you might be impressed by the sheer amount of books in this library here. But once you look closer, you see the deception. Somebody cut off the titles and stuck them on a piece of wood. Wow, that’s such a waste, no? I’m so against this idea.
18. This Earring Idea
If you’ve always wanted to know what it would feel to be cattle, here’s your chance. This cow tag earring is so stylish, no? Um, I don’t think so. There is no way in the world I would ever be caught dead in that. Do you get the pun?

Just because you want to DIY doesn’t mean you should. All of these ideas here aren’t impressing me one bit. Do me a favor next time you want to DIY something, think of a better idea than that. If you can’t, then move on to something else.
