Sometimes there is nothing better than taking an issue into your own hands and doing a job yourself! I mean, I never do this as I am fairly useless at DIY — and most other things — but still!

I love that their dad went out of his way to somehow sort this out even though it is one of the daftest ideas for a costume I have ever heard! Guess their dad was all ears to the idea.

I don’t think that I’ve ever heard of a single city anywhere actually going out of their way to fix a pothole. It’s like city councils love potholes!

Someone pointed out that at least the engineer who fixed this didn’t become a surgeon instead!

Thanks to the comments on this photo, I learned that melon buses are actually a semi-common thing, but couldn’t find out why. There’s just a lot of watermelon fanatics, I guess.

I know tortoises are very smart and destructive but the thought of one managing to escape is still funny to me. They’re surely not doing it quickly.

During times off work or between jobs, some people delve into new, creative hobbies and discover a talent or a new passion. I think this counts as that.
