There's no denying Bridgerton is one of the most popular shows of ALL time for a reason...a very GOOD reason.
Yes, the show is soapy and the costumes are amazing and the acting makes me weep, but the on-screen chemistry is...FIRE.
So when Ashton Kutcher thought his wife was watching porn while watching the steamy series, I think husbands everywhere went "Yeah, me too!"
The show has been watched in over 80 million houses in its first month on the streaming service.
The show has become everyone's favorite pandemic coping mechanism and I, for one, cannot wait for the second season!
As Bridgerton fans may already know, actors Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor had an intimacy coordinator on set to choreograph those now-famous scenes.
"You're working with actors that are wet; you've got to be very careful about wigs; you've got to be very careful about costume. We did a lot of work up against hard surfaces, so we've got to be able to protect the actors because that's essentially a stone floor," she explained.
"How do we keep these actors warm during takes and in between takes? Part of that is having a fantastic costume team ready with robes and hot water bottles and standing by to swaddle them in between. And also making sure that modesty garments are held on even though the actors are wet, because a lot of times they're held on with tape or glue, and making sure that that is still in place even with doing some very energetic scenes."
Celebrities also can't get enough of the show, including goddess and actress Mila Kunis.
During an interview with Today Show hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, Mila shared an NSFW story that I'm sure many Bridgerton fans can relate to.
"It doesn't matter what is on, I'm asleep. Last night I happened to—I clearly stayed up til midnight," the 37-year-old added, according to E! News.
Speaking of hubby Ashton, the actress said, "He's dead asleep. Wakes up in the peak of the fifth episode and he goes, ‘Are you watching a porno?' Like, he was so confused of what was happening!"
"I'm like—I didn't know what was going on. Is there somebody else in the bed? It was terrifying!"
"This is the wedding!" she shouted before stopping herself to avoid spilling any secrets for future Bridgerton watchers.
"Wait until episode eight. It gets good. It gets better!" The ladies insisted. As any Bridgerton fan knows, this is the TRUTH!
