We all face events that are unexpected. No one could have predicted them, totally random with no foresight available. However, there’s a difference between not being able to see something coming, and not knowing it could even happen at all.
This list covers the latter with 15+ times we just had no idea things could turn out this way.

“My sister-in-law hasn’t stepped out in two weeks due to the enforced community quarantine in her town. She found this in her car at the parking lot.”
I thought the whole ‘plants taking over human structures once they’re gone’ thing would take longer, but it seems two weeks is enough.

You’re forgetting the bigger shock here which is that they’re yellow. It somehow fits so well, their eye for aesthetics is unparalleled.
