We often find ourselves in situations that are less than ideal, and a lot of people’s response is to simply try and pretend that everything is fine ⏤ I know that I do.
So, with this coping technique in mind, here are 15+ people who tried to pretend that everything was fine when it obviously wasn’t!

This must be what Zoom calls look like in Hell between low-level demons and lost souls. I can just hear them saying, “Hi, Belphegor, you’re on mute, mate! Unmute your infernal mic!”

I think that the guy in the background’s expression somewhat perfectly sums up people’s internal responses to this dress.
“Lady and the tramp stamp…”
Sure, I like the joke of this one, but I do not know if I would really want it stuck on my body forever!
“No explanation needed…”
At the point where you have thrown, and lost, one shoe then you may as well throw your other shoe as well, unless your plan is to hop all the way home!
“Always check the fine print…”
Now, call me crazy, but I find that diarrhea is one of those situations that is always urgent!
“Picture on the website vs what was delivered.”
This is why you shouldn’t feed your Gremlin cakes after midnight. Christ, that one on the right really does look more horrifying the longer you look at it.

I wonder if they can appeal this sort of thing? They must surely be able to. You’d hope, anyway.

I cannot wait for machines to have complete sentiency just so that they can genuinely apologize when they crash or make mistakes. Basically, I just want my printer to know the heartache it causes me.

Nothing like a shot of beer to wash down a hearty meal! It’s better than no beer at all, I guess?

Someone suggested that this phone might just be acting as a rear-view camera, which is a pretty ingenious idea, the more I think about it!

Wow, now that has got to sting. I don’t know if I would ever be able to look at a scroll again after this… Which isn’t too much of a big deal for me as I don’t look at scrolls very often, fortunately.

Look, your chest is definitely going to be clean, if nothing else! They’ll have one hell of a sore back after washing their hair under that though.

Actually, that looks like a great idea, as it looks fun as hell. Although, there’ll probably be someone ready to tell me that this is actually really bad for the fountain…

It’s good that more and more people are wearing GoPro cameras on their helmets. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to be absolutely terrified by images such as these.

Well, what a wildly unpleasant image. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions from this one, I think.

That is one hell of a beautiful 22nd birthday cake, and when you look at it in a mirror then it is perfect!
