Every now and then, we see somebody that seems to be living 1,000 years into the future. Since we always lament when people aren’t recognized for their greatness until long after their time, we can find ourselves heaping a bunch of praise on someone who seems like they might fit the bill.
Sure, this sometimes means that we hype up someone as a prophet of the way of the future because they wore a weird outfit once. Still, I guess that if we keep predicting that people will grow to be geniuses beyond our tiny human comprehension, we’re bound to be right eventually.
So I suppose time will tell who on this list we were right about and who we jumped the gun on.
It’s hard to tell what this elaborate setup is about at first, but this man uses it to visit different websites for money.
Yeah, it turns out that offers to do that aren’t always spam, but they also don’t exactly pay much. And so, this clever agent found a way to actually make that gig worth his while.
This kid’s love for the cat doesn’t seem entirely appreciated, so he found a way around that.
That nasty scratch didn’t make him want to snuggle this kitty any less, but now he’s improvised some armor in case it happens again.

I guess who I’m impressed with depends on the context.
Hollywood may exaggerate and distort a lot of things, but its standard of coolness seems to apply here.
After all, that is definitely a flaming car in the background and this person isn’t even glancing at it.
Sure, this is already pretty impressive if the photographer just caught this guy right before he completed his dive.
However, this man has truly ascended beyond the limits of pathetic humans if he’s actually figured out how to headstand on the water.
Bonus points if he can teach the dog to do it, too.
This is definitely another thing that shouldn’t be tried at home, but this guy somehow managed to pull it off.
So either this sunken ship isn’t as deep underwater as I thought, or Aquaman’s showing off for whatever the superhero equivalent of Instagram is.
I’m not sure where this kid will go in life, but he won’t have much trouble finding his way there.
Just the fact that he could apparently do this without anyone but the photographer noticing means he has some serious stealth skills.
I’m not even sure I want to imagine how long it took to finally pull this off.
It seemed like such a one-in-a-million shot and was likely so glorious to finally accomplish that I won’t even ask why they bothered doing this in the first place.
And believe me, that’s a baffling question to completely sidestep.
I have no idea where it came from, but that’s definitely an ambitious goal.
I’m guessing they want to one day master control of the owls for this purpose, but maybe it’s just a case where one person’s nightmare is another’s dream come true.
