Every second, someone is uploading something to the internet. As you read that sentence, about a million photos went live online. No, you’ll never see them all. But you can enjoy a curated list of some of the best recent pics.
Friendship goals.

The two men in this photo are lifelong friends — one Sikh, one Muslim. The latter had nowhere to pray, so his Sikh friend built a full-on mosque to give him somewhere to do his daily prayers.
Picture perfect.

It probably doesn’t occur to many couples that they may resemble the two leads in the James Franco/Seth Rogen vehicle Pineapple Express . This couple isn’t most couples, though.
Pink tunnel.

This ethereal view can be seen in Japan. When the cherry blossoms bloom, it’s an incredible sight — made even more dramatic by the way they hang over this path.
A kind gesture.

This photo from Wuhan, China shows a doctor and his patient, an 87-year-old who’s been stricken with coronavirus. The doctor wheeled his patient out to see the sunshine, possibly for the final time.
Segmented.

This railing, this landscape and this angle work perfectly together. If you visualize what’s behind the railing, you can infer the shape of this picturesque valley.
Childhood is over.

If there’s a hole in your heart, it’s probably shaped like the Blockbuster sign. This poignant photo shows us that Blockbuster may be gone, but its shadow still lingers in the strip malls of America.
25 and feeling alive.

This woman celebrated her hundredth birthday recently, as she was born on February 29, 1920. Or is it her 25th birthday? Leap year babies have the option of claiming either number.
When you leave your watch out in the sun.

This fun watch is clearly inspired by the work of Salvador Dali. I’m guessing it isn’t a smartwatch, though, as something shaped like this would require some kind of weird OS.
A journey comes to an end.

The man who posted this photo explained that he came to this place to scatter his wife’s ashes. It came after a 2,500 mile flight, two hours of driving and six hours of hiking.
Cool sun.

When viewed through UV lenses, the sun looks less bright and yellow and considerably more trippy. It’s fascinating how lenses and filters can give us a new perspective on a familiar sight.
An uneasy reminder.

This sculpture in Denmark looks a bit like something out of a horror movie, and that’s probably the point. It’s designed to commemorate the thousands of migrants who drown while trying to seek a better life in Europe.
Change happens fast.

China is a country that’s become rapidly industrialized in the past few decades, with 21st century infrastructure intruding on centuries-old pastoral farmland. This image illustrates the clash well.
I need to book a flight here.

Communities in the northern Atlantic ocean tend to favor brightly-colored houses to stand out against the often dreary Arctic sky. This photo of the Greenland coast shows just how picturesque the effect is.
Frozen 3.

Japan seems to have a ton of thse stunning views. This time, it isn’t blooming cherry blossoms, but a forest of frozen bamboo flanking a path in Kyoto.
Family first.

Tigers are ferocious killing machines, even moreso then other big cats. But they do have a nurturing side, as seen in this image of a mom and her cubs.
An ancient city.

This shows an aerial view of Timgad, an ancient Roman colony and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Africa. The ruins here aren’t just a few crumbling statues or buildings, but rather a huge city.
Making me nervous.

This pilot proudly posted a photo of his plane flying over the Himalayas, which look uncomfortably close. Remember, Mount Everest is in the Himalayas, and its peak is as high as the flight paths of commercial planes.
Never lose touch with your childhood.

This photo taken from a nearby building shows a trio of impossibly wholesome garbage men. They decided to take a break from garbage collection and just go for a swing.
Glitch in the matrix.

This guy found that he was wearing the same shirt as a woman at the bar, so he posed as a picture. Moments later, another person wearing the same shirt moved into the frame.
Generations.

“Me (19) with my 102 y/o great grandma Vivienne,” wrote the original poster, who added that her great-gran stays in great shape by walking the golf course every day.
