'Three Men And A Baby' Remake Starring Zac Efron In The Works For Disney+

Remakes, reboots, sequels, prequels — the movie industry is full of old films being brought back to life in new iterations and it's happening all the time, whether we like it or not.

The latest film to get this treatment is Three Men And A Baby which has just been revealed as Disney+'s next remake, starring Zac Efron.

The original *Three Men And A Baby* is a classic comedy.

Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson played three guys living the bachelor dream in NYC until they found themselves having to take care of a baby girl. As you can imagine, it was both hilarious and sweet.

Like this comedy legend trio, Zac Efron is also a pretty celebrated actor.

Sure, he was originally known for his maybe-a-little-cheesy work in movies like the High School Musical series and 17 Again. Recently, however, he has really proven his acting chops in films like Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile and he's garnered a lot of attention for his new Netflix series, Down To Earth.

Maybe these two — movie and man — coming together in remake form is fate!

Variety confirmed that a remake starring Efron was happening for Disney+. A script has already been written by writer Will Reichel but a director for the remake has not yet been set, nor has any other cast announcements been made.

Fans are torn.

"Why oh why are we getting a ‘three men and a baby’ remake, when we should be getting ‘three men and a bride’ the sequal we need! She’d be about my age now I think, do it! I grew up with the first two!"one fan tweeted, while others are excited at the prospect.
