Selma Blair Is 'Overjoyed' To Be Riding Her Horse Again Amidst MS Battle

Selma Blair has kept fans updated on her journey with Multiple sclerosis since early last year. Selma has proven time and time again that she is a fearless and strong woman with a determination to beat her illness and live life to the fullest.

One of the biggest things Selma has been vocal about missing is being able to ride her horse.

As you may recall, Selma Blair went public with her MS diagnoses back in early 2019.

Since then, the actress has shared her health journey with her nearly 2.5 million Instagram followers.

One common theme Selma has expressed is the desire to ride her horse again, something her battle with MS has stopped her from doing.

Selma's horse, Mr. Nibbles, has made many cameo's on the 48-year-olds Instagram page.

In September, Selma posted a picture kissing her beloved horse, with the caption "I am finding my way back to you. My perfect horse."

Now, it seems Selma finally has found her way back to Mr. Nibbles. "Getting back on my horse. It is what I miss the most about my current abilities or disabilities. But today, we managed to get it together to have a few minutes and I could not stop smiling," Selma shared.

"I can’t feel my left leg, or where my hips are. I break down and freeze when exhausted."

She continued: "We took it slow. I didn’t criticize my equitation too much. I am a mess with MS. I was told I would be jumping in a year when I was first diagnosed. I believed and have had shame I haven’t pulled through for the rest of us."

"I will always have MS, I now see. Always. But I am going to learn how to use this body, brain and emotions."

Selma concluded: "So back in the saddle it is. Keep finding ways to do things. I have hope. Thank you all. Especially Celeris and Cellar Door Farm to keep encouraging me to try again, in style."

We could not be happier for Selma and her huge accomplishment.

We hope there will be more Mr. Nibbles content coming our way soon!
