During a time in the world where it seems like the entire news cycle is filled with bad news on top of bad news, it's awesome to finally see something happening worth celebrating, and the addition of children to a happy family is definitely always worth celebrating!

Us Weekly has confirmed that the happy couple welcomed the twins via surrogate earlier this year.

Kristen had started baby rumors on Mother's Day based on something she'd said during that week's episode of Saturday Night Live.

“This is the Mother’s Day show, and at SNL, it’s a very special time to celebrate moms,” she said.

“Unfortunately, probably like a lot of you, I can’t be with my mom on this Mother’s Day. So, I hope it’s OK, I would like to tell her I love her," Kristen began.

"I don't know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life."

"But this year I'm feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love. I'm so thankful for all the things she's taught me, preparing me to be a mom myself," she said.

Many fans picked up on Kristen talking about preparing to be a mother, although she didn't confirm anything at that time.

Kristen and Avi were first linked together in 2016 on a trip to Hawaii.

Although in 2011 Kristen had stated "I probably won’t ever get married [again]; it’s not something that I would want to do,” after her divorce from actor Hayes Hargrove in 2009, it was confirmed in August 2019 that the two had gotten engaged.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Those babies are very lucky that they get to have one of the funniest women in the world as their mom — and we bet that Kristen is going to do a hilarious job of embarrassing them when they get older!

Congrats, Kristen and Avi!
