Celebs proudly show off their baby bums on the red carpet and during photo shoots.
The only time they might not want to flaunt that bun in the oven is when they’re at work — especially if their character isn’t pregnant.
Here are a few ways that shows and movies hid an actor’s growing bump. For some of these actors, they hid it so well that I didn’t realize they were pregnant until now.

Thanks to Angela’s conservative outfits and the use of cubicles, they were able to keep her bump under wraps.

If you can believe it, Gal Gadot was five months pregnant when she re-shot some of the fights scenes for Wonder Woman .
She had to wear a green band across her bump so that it could be edited out in post-production.

When January Jones became pregnant while starring on Mad Men , the writers decided to use her pregnancy as a way to explore a storyline where Betty gains weight.
Special-effects makeup was added to complete her transformation.
Kerry Washington
When Kerry Washington, star of the show Scandal became pregnant, her character began wearing looser clothes to hide her growing bump.
She would also hold props like bags and papers in front of her body.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon was pregnant during the filming of Vanity Fair .
Thankfully, those bulky period clothes and empire waists hid her bump well. I honestly can’t tell that she was pregnant at all in that movie.
Leah Remini
When Leah Remini became pregnant, her character on The King of Queens was unemployed, so her bump was hidden by her baggy clothes and pajamas.

During the fifth season of Grey’s Anatomy , Ellen was pregnant, but you probably didn’t even realize it until now.
Thanks to those hospital scrubs, her growing belly was hidden pretty well and the show used a few strategic camera angles, too.

Penelope actually had to enlist the help of her sister to stand in for her during some of the wide shots of Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides .
