Every parent has different parenting styles and techniques, and that does not exclude celebrity moms and dads!
Here are the celeb parents who are on the stricter side of the spectrum.
Kourtney Kardashian.
Kourtney isn’t necessarily strict , but she’s definitely particular about certain things that most parents probably don’t worry so much about.
For example, she’s VERY concerned about their pillowcases.
She has said in the past that her children are only allowed to sleep on silk pillowcases . Cotton is prohibited!
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott.
“Kylie got boxes of medical masks for people to wear around Stormi because she doesn’t want her exposed to any germs, she’s still so brand new,” a source close to Kylie revealed .
If you DO want to see Stormi, you have to get on the guest list.
Kylie is so particular about making sure Stormi only is exposed to people she trusts, which is definitely not a bad thing.
Denzel Washington.
Denzel is all about teaching his children manners . He enforces that they should always be saying “please” and “thank you” as well as “yes ma’am” and “yes sir”.
As parents should do!
Although not all parents agree with that.
The Big Bang Theory ‘s Mayim Bialik doesn’t force her kids to say please or thank you, but prefers to wait them out until they say it on their own.
Julia Roberts.
Julia is strict about her children’s diet. Sugar and junk food is not a common thing in their household, but rather, a treat for every once in a while.
That’s how she feels about screen time too.
She also limits the amount of television and social media her kids are exposed to.
Gwyneth Paltrow.
We often hear about Gwyneth’s rigid gluten-free, vegan diet — which she does also enforce with her kids.
Food isn’t the only area Gwyneth is strict about.
She also does not let her children watch television in English. Spanish or French only!
Jennifer Garner.
Keeping junk food away from kids can be a struggle. But Jennifer is committed to keeping her children as far away from unhealthy food as possible.
Its not just a suggestion.
There is a strict no junk food rule implemented in her household .
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.
To prevent their children from becoming spoiled and materialistic, Mila and Ashton do not give their kids any presents during the holidays.
That’s right, no gifts on Christmas !
Mayim Bialik is on board with that one too.
The actress is Jewish, so her kids don’t receive gifts on Christmas from her, but she’s not against presents from grandparents .
Jennifer Lopez.
To make sure her kids aren’t getting too much screen-time, she only allows them to use their iPads on Sundays — something she calls ” Sunday Funday “.
Megan Fox.
Megan says no to her children freely using the internet, cell phones, or television until they’re teenagers .
She revealed that occasionally she will allow them to watch a movie, but not often.
So they probably haven’t seen Jennifer’s Body , but they may have watched their mom in Transformers .
Bill Gates.
This one may be surprising since Bill Gates is a technology wiz. But he has a strict no-cellphone rule for his children under the age of 13.
Barack and Michelle Obama.
Michelle revealed that when her daughters were young, they didn’t use the computer for entertainment or watch TV on school nights. On top of that, they have some pretty strict rules when it came to cellphone use.
Victoria and David Beckham.
According to their son, Brooklyn, both Victoria and David are strict.
“They’re both strict, but about different things. Mum is constantly telling us not to play football in the house,” he said .
Cate Blanchett.
Cate has admitted to being the “bad cop” parent to her children.

Mayim keeps their use of the internet to a minimum . That means no television, no movies, and when they have to look something up, they have to use a book to do it.
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder.
This celebrity couple imposed a month of silence when their daughter was born. This meant no visitors and having their phones turned off for the first 30 days of their daughter’s life.
They did this to be more present in their daughter’s first month.
Or at least so they said. Maybe they were just being clever and avoiding the almost inevitable rush of in-laws and distant relatives wanting to meet the new baby.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
Okay, so this one happened before the baby was born — Chrissy picked out the sex of her baby before she even got pregnant.
This was possible since the couple used in-vitro fertilization.
Chrissy said , “I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.'”
