If there’s one handy item on the planet that can be used in a variety of ways it’s a zip tie. Those nifty little ties can save your b**t in many sticky situations and then some.

1. Zipper Helper
If only I had a zip tie every time I got caught with my zipper down. It would have saved me from that embarrassing situation.

Having a bunch of keys lose in your bag can be a pain. A handy zip tie can keep those keys in place.

When I travel, I always wonder if my bags have been inspected by the TSA. By attaching a zip tie I won’t have to wonder anymore.

As a writer, I make lots of notes. Sometimes that can get messy, so I use zip ties as binder rings to keep my notes tidy.
