It took me two years to decide on my first tattoo. That’s how much of a big deal it was to me. So I can’t help but balk at those who decide in haste. Tattoos are permanent, y’all!
Yes, you can have them removed, but who wants to go through that hassle when you can just get it right in the first place? It’s clear these people didn’t quite think their ideas through.

First of all, this hand appears to only have four fingers. And what’s that thing on the bottom? It resembles something else to me.

Speaking of faces, whatever happened to Benjamin Franklin’s face on this $100 bill? It looks like his face is melting or something like that. Yikes.

There’s so much going wrong with this tattoo I don’t have enough words to describe it. The word jumble and then a bug blister? What?
9. This Ain’t Poppin’
If your tattoo artist tells you this is going to pop when it heals, they’re lying to you, dude. This is as good as it gets.
10. This Total Resemblance
Speaking of cute, this guy wanted to get a cute tattoo of his girl, but what he got is terrifying instead. Right over the nipple, too.

Apparently, this tale as old as time has ended up turning out as a fail as old as time. Was this tattoo artist on something?

At least, I think it’s a rose. Unfortunately, putting it on the knuckle might not have been the best idea since it’s really hard to make out the details. Lesson learned.
13. Imagine?
Does this tattoo say, “Imagine”? I honestly can’t tell if the first letter is an “I” or a “J.” It just goes to show that you should pick a legible font when it comes to your tattoos.
14. This Wu-Tang Clan Tribute
I’m sorry, but was the tattoo artist who designed this a toddler? Everything is so uneven and the lines on the logo don’t even match up. Yikes.
15. This Eclectic Design
You know, when it comes to tattoos, sometimes less is more. There is a lot going on here with this design. You’ve got butterflies, a heart, and flowers. Next time, just keep it simple.

Does anyone else think of the movie, Cats when they look at this? Let’s leave the half-cat, half-human hybrids to big-screen flops instead of tattoo designs, OK?

I definitely thought I was looking at a design of Bart Simpson as an embryo. Apparently, this person was going for a “gummy Bart Simpson.” I don’t even want to know what that means.

At least, I think they’re flames. They could also be soundwaves or regular waves for all I know. I’m not going to lie, at this point, it’s anyone’s guess as to what they are.

I love this message, but I’m not loving the design so much. If you want a quote tattoo, you need to go to an artist who can actually do lettering — that’s the bottom line.

I can’t say I’ve seen too many people who love volcanoes and dinosaurs enough to get a tattoo design of them. I’m going to take a wild guess and assume this person really likes Jurassic Park .
20. This Lion
People, don’t get tattoos done by someone who clearly has never seen a picture of an actual lion. This design is definitely not Simba here.
21. This Crash And Burn
How cute! He wanted to get a Crash Bandicoot tattoo, but on his neck? And to end up with something like this? Not the best idea.
Let this be a warning to all of you out there still deciding on getting a tattoo.
Do your research. Find the right artist and don’t get drunk. LOL!
