Cake decorating is one art I really admire. I mean, I can barely make muffins much less bake a whole cake and decorate it, ha, ha!
But when it comes to wedding cakes things can really get amped up. I’m always blown away by some wedding cake designs that seem like they’re out of this world. I think the following cakes are the perfect examples of that.
1. This Elaborate Peacock
I still haven’t decided what kind of wedding cake I’m going to get for my wedding. I did however think about getting one with some cupcakes incorporated into the design. This one is pretty unique and spectacular.
2. This White Flower Cake
We’ve all seen lots of wedding cakes that incorporate flower design into them, right? Well, I think this is such a different take on the idea. I absolutely love this all-white flower cake design here.
3. This Upside-Down Wedding Cake
Here’s an idea for a wedding cake I’ve never thought of — an upside-down cake. Isn’t this so intriguing? My only concern would be the weight of it and keeping it from falling down and crashing, ha, ha!

Wedding cakes don’t all have to be full of pink and pastel colors. If you’ve got a darker aesthetic in you, don’t worry. There are more dark-themed cakes you can choose from. This one is definitely unique, huh?

Themed wedding cakes are all the rage these days. No matter what you’re into there’s a baker that can bring your vision to life. This Star Wars cake is definitely striking all the right moves here.
10. This Furry Companion Cake
Some people are really crazy about their pets. So much so that they even want to incorporate them into their wedding celebrations. What a better way to do so than to have them right on your wedding cake.
11. This Home-Made Beauty
Oh my goodness, this cake looks like it was professionally made, no? Well, turns out the bride herself made it. It has pumpkin and apple spice cake, maple cream cheese frosting, fresh fruit and herbs, candied spiced pecans, and pumpkin seeds. I’m totally impressed.
12. This Life-Size Replica Cake
Would you ever want a cake that’s a life-size version of you? Well, if you have a cool million bucks you too can have something like this. This looks like it belongs in Madame Tussaud’s museum or something.
13. This Masterpiece
Was I lying when I said wedding cakes can really be amped up? Judging by this photo, I don’t think so. I don’t know how this cake even got made with all these intricate details and layers. If this isn’t blowing you away, I dunno what will.
14. The Lego Cake
How awesome is this design?! I absolutely love how the baker made it look like the Lego minifigs are actually building this cake. This is definitely a unique design that would be so eye-catching at a reception.
Wow, I’m so amazed that there are countless ideas when it comes to wedding cakes.
And if you can find a baker that can pull the design off, you’re definitely going to impress all your guests. I’m still deciding on the style of my wedding cake but these gave me some great ideas!
