Do you have a lot of stuff around your house you’re constantly trying to hide? Welcome to my world, ha, ha. Some of us are what one might consider packrats or hoarders.
I do have certain things that are better stored away than being left in plain view. If you do, too, take note of these clever ways to hide the eyesores in your home.
1. Use A Bed Skirt

I’m the first one to admit that I store a lot of stuff under my bed— it’s my secret hiding spot. But, one cool way to disguise the things hiding underneath is with a clever bed skirt.
2. Cover Up That Radiator
Radiators aren’t exactly the prettiest things to look at. Am I right? But they are definitely a necessary thing in certain houses. Don’t worry though — these days there are nice radiator covers like these you can get or DIY yourself.
3. Use Window Film

Eyesores can be found not only inside of your house but outside too. If you suffer from an ugly view, why not makeover it with the use of a nice window film? This stained glass effect is so pretty.
4. Get A Vent Cover
I gotta say I don’t like ugly looking vents. They can totally mess up the vibe of the whole room. What if you could get a chic vent cover like this one instead? I love this idea.
5. This Office Fix

All those cables around your office desk can be so unsightly. So how can you organize them better? Well, you can use tubes to hide all the cords that are bunched up together just like this.
6. Use A Slide-Out Trash Can

Nobody really wants to see a trash can. Am I right? I certainly don’t. Here’s a really clever way to hide one in your kitchen cabinet. This slide-out idea is absolutely brilliant. Isn’t it?
7. Hide Those Lids

Where do you store your pot and pan lids? I always find it hard to find the right place for them. So, I absolutely love the idea of affixing them right on the door of your kitchen cabinet.

Storage ottomans are one of my favorite ways to hide stuff. Not only do they look really pretty but you can even use them as extra seating too. This one is so fancy. I totally adore it.

Here’s an item I’ve been eyeing for my house. I really need to find a better way to store my shoes. This awesome shoe bench is a great item to keep right by your door.
10. Use A Cord Cover To Hide TV Cables

Do you want to hang your TV on the wall but don’t want to see all those cables? No problem! There’s an easy solution for that. Just use a cord cover that you can install yourself.
11. Build Under The Stairs Storage
The area under the stairs is often underutilized. Check out what these folks did to make it into a clever extra storage solution. Isn’t this such an awesome idea? I think this is so cool.

I gotta admit I haven’t thought of some of these clever ways before. But now that I know about them I can’t wait to implement them ASAP.
