Taste, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. At least that’s what I think. Therefore, when something has flawless execution that doesn’t exactly mean that it looks good.
That seems to be the case with a lot of things you find online these days. I can say the same about these design ideas that should have remained as ideas, period.
1. This Curious Shower Curtain
Why would anyone want to have a Jeff Goldblum shower curtain? That’s up there with the Nicolas Cage pillow. If you’re one of these people who enjoys this, I have more questions than answers for you, ha, ha!
2. This Swan Chair
Um, what in the heck is that? Is that a swan chair? I sincerely hope this wasn’t taxidermy but just some fake swans. Otherwise, you couldn’t pay me to sit on it. I can’t get over how weird this is.
3. This Vincent van Gogh Necklace
If you don’t know the story of Vincent van Gogh cutting off his ear, then you’ll probably find nothing wrong with this necklace. But once you know, you’ll never look at it the same way again.
4. This Bleeding Necklace
Speaking of necklaces, what do you think of this design here? I don’t know about you, but I find it just a little bit too literal for my taste. How do you explain this at a dinner party?
5. This Brown Car
There is so much wrong with this car, I don’t know where to begin. First of all, this color is the ugliest brown I’ve ever seen. Second of all, try going over a speed bump with this thing. I have a feeling it won’t make it.
6. This Batstache
Is it just me, or has men’s facial hair gone berserk lately? I mean, all the hipster beards are starting to get to me, but this is taking the manscaping to a new level. I don’t think Batman would approve of this.
7. This Spiky Hairdo
If you’re horrified because you thought this was some kind of body modification, I’m going to ease your mind a little — the spikes are glued on. Why would anyone go through all that trouble for this look is beyond my comprehension.
8. This Handmade Mask
I know people are getting more creative with their face masks lately, but it still doesn’t excuse this travesty. Sure, go ahead, wear this if you want to alienate all your neighbors. I dare you, lol.
9. This Coffee Cup
Here’s the deal: When I order my coffee, I don’t want a fancy cup. I want to sip my drink that’s delicious and not think of what will happen after I finish it. This toilet cup can only make me think of one thing.
10. This Crappy Birthday Cake
Speaking of poop, would you believe somebody made this cake for their friend’s birthday. What kind of a sick person does that, huh? With friends like these, who needs enemies? Am I right? Ha, ha!
