ICYDK, a new live-action adaptation of a classic Disney movie is coming: Peter Pan & Wendy. I got to attend the amazing panel where the first look into the movie was revealed, and let me tell you: it's going to be quite the adventure!
The cast includes Jude Law as the evil Captain Hook, Jim Gaffigan as Mr. Smee, Yara Shahidi as Tinker Bell, Alexander Molony as Peter Pan, Ever Anderson as Wendy, and Alyssa Wapantahk as Tiger Lily.
At D23 we saw an exclusive trailer of the movie, and I can promise you that it looks AMAZING.
But don't expect a Disney classic full of lightheartedness, judging from the trailer, it's going to have a darker, more adventurous feel, full of even more sword fights, near-death experiences, and more.
Even The Lost Boys have a new look! Not only did they add girls to their group, but some of them will be wearing interesting face masks or headgear, inspired by Neverland, making them seem one with the forest and their home.
