Adorable Video Shows 3-Year-Old Waiting For Sisters 'No Matter The Weather'

One thing I've found in life is that some things are so adorable that they can punch holes in even my worst moods.

While funny videos can get their share of begrudging laughs out of me when I'm mad, there's something about a wholesome video showing someone doing what makes them happy that really soothes whatever nonsense I'm trying to get over that day.

And sure, it's hard not to crack a smile at something universally cute like an expressive dog. But considering how hateful the world seems to be so often, it's particularly affirming to see people form unlikely friendships and show us just how close they are.

As we're about to see, that's especially great to see at the family level since nobody gets to choose what family they're born into. And once you see how adorably close three sisters are, it's hard not to celebrate it and maybe even feel a little jealous.

When Robin Whitsett and her husband welcomed their youngest daughter Loxley into their family, they worried about her getting along with her older sisters.

As Whitsett told Good Morning America, that's because her other daughters Lily and Lilah would be 12 and 10 respectively by the time Loxley turned three.

In her words, "We were a little concerned having a third child later with the age gap, how our family dynamic would change (with) the girls being a little bit older, but they both adjusted really well."

Not only does Loxley love her big sisters, but Lily in turn takes on an almost motherly role for her while Lilah plays with her and has fun dressing her up.

So when the older sisters had to go back to school, it didn't take long for Loxley to miss them deeply.

This led her to start waiting for their school buses as the end of each day neared and she quickly learned when that time was coming all on her own.

As Whitsett put it, "They're really close, so it was a good way for her to cope with something to look forward to."

It's also apparent from the full video that Loxley is just as excited to do this no matter what it's like outside.

In Whitsett's words, "She'll go grab her umbrella or her boots and her coat, and she's ready to go. [...] So she doesn't mind the weather at all."

Moreover, we can see that her sisters are always really excited to see Loxley as well and pull her into a tight embrace every time.

Although Whitsett could clearly see how adorable the footage she captured of them was, even she didn't expect her video compiling their little reunions to amass over 15.2 million views and 2.1 million likes.

But once she read the comments these well-wishers left behind, she became aware of how rare such a close and loving bond between siblings can be.

As she said, "One person commented that they would, you know, lock their brother out in the snow. So I think it's a rarity, and it's a good, wholesome video that everybody can kind of agree on."

And as Loxley gears up to attend preschool for the first time, Whitsett only hopes they can remain as close as they grow up.
