Reality shows are full of juicy, unbelievable drama that captivates every fiber of our being. So it’s only right that their cancelations are filled with just as much drama.
They left the world they same way they came into it: A scandalous train-wreck, that we hated ourselves for caring about.
Reality TV is trash. Trash that we can’t stop watching, even if we wanted to.
There’s no better way to kill brain cells than by sitting down and watching The Real World or 90 Day Fiancé .
So when one of the reality favs gets canceled, in a controversial way, it’s a big deal.
“Jon & Kate Plus 8”

TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 was canceled due to marital issues between Jon and Kate, who later divorced, and disputed heavily over the custody of the children.
In an attempt to reboot, TLC launched Kate Plus 8 , but it didn’t exactly have the same ring to it.
The show was a bust, and was cancelled not long after premiering.
2007. What a weird time.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 was the beginning of all reality shows about families with absurd amounts of children.
“Megan Wants A Millionaire”

As the title suggests, the show was about Megan Hauserman, the star of the show, dating a series of millionaires, in the hopes to find true love.
But things came to a halt when some appalling information came to the surface: Contestant, Ryan Jenkins, was facing murder charges .
Of all the ways a reality TV show can mess up, nothing holds a candle to this.

Hopefully VH1 learned their lesson, and starts vetting their casts better.
“The Two Coreys”

A&E’s The Two Coreys , a reality series about the two former child actors, was canceled after Corey Haim— the former drug addict, unfortunately, relapsed, and later passed away .
Can’t really have a show called “The Two Coreys” with just one Cory.

It’s really too bad things went awry because otherwise, it was a pretty decent show.
“Eve & Ocho”

VH1 canceled this series promptly after Chad “Ochocino” Johnson was charged with domestic abuse after head-butting his wife, Eveleyn Lozada.
“The Good Life”
Musician, Cee Lo Green, was all set to be the host of a new, unscripted comedy show on TBS.
But he was simultaneously tangled up in a felony lawsuit, for allegedly selling ecstasy to a woman, and r****g her.
So, the show was canceled , which was probably for the best.
“Flip It Forward”

HGTV called it quits on Flip It Forward , because the two lead hosts of the show, David and Jason Benham, publicly shared their anti-gay and pro-life views .
“Buckwild”

Shain Gandee, one of MTV’s Buckwild stars, was found dead in a vehicle, along with two other people.
It was a very tragic time for his family and community, so the show came to an expected end.
“All My Babies’ Mamas”

Rapper, Shawty Lo, was set to premiere in a reality show along with all 10 of his baby mama’s, their kids, and his girlfriend.
But before the show could even air its first episode, viewers petitioned for the show to be canceled altogether, which caught the attention of the network, causing the show to be pulled before its grand reveal.
Can’t say I’m disappointed that this show ended before it began.
I mean, the whole concept is pretty gross. 10 baby mamas is excessive.
“Pretty Wild”

E!’s reality series, Pretty Wild was canceled after photos leaked of the two main stars, Tess Taylor and Alexis Neiers, partaking in illegal drug activity.
“Paula’s Home Cooking”

Paula’s Home Cooking was canceled after Paula, herself, admitted in a legal disposition, admitting to using the N-word , along with other racial slurs and discriminatory remarks.
Before Paula’s racist tendencies came to light, she was best known for using repulsive amounts of butter in her recipes.

The cancellation of Paula’s Home Cooking might have saved us all a clogged artery. Who knows.
“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”

TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo , was about Alanna Thompson, her sisters, and her mom, June Shannon.
The show was a booming success, but things came to a stop when news leaked that June was dating a convicted child molester .
Mama June has had us cringing since day one. But this is where we draw the line.
This whole situation just made me want to give my mom a hug and thank her for being normal.
That being said, the show was amusing AF.

I’m not going to sit here and lie to you.
Honey Boo Boo kept me entertained for hours on end. I’m not proud of this fact, but it’s the truth.
If not for mama June’s boyfriend, I’d have nothing bad to say about this show.
“Kid Nation”

Kid Nation was a CBS reality show about stranding a group of children in the middle of nowhere, and watching them scramble trying to figure out how to survive.
But the show was accused of exploiting the kids for entertainment, which ultimately led to its cancellation .
Curious which parents signed their kids up for this televised torture.

It’s concerning that there were parents who willingly volunteered their kids up to suffer for the sake of entertainment.
“19 Kids And Counting”

TLC pulled the plug on 19 Kids And Counting after learning that Josh Duggar had molested two of his sisters as children.
It’s a good thing Malorie from “Bird Box” didn’t have 19 kids.

I think she would have eventually run out of impersonal nouns to call her children.
“Armed and Famous”

CBS decided to take the celebs-as-law-enforcement experiment off the air, and cancel it indefinitely , after its substantial downfall in viewers and ratings.
No kidding.
