We wanted these couples to work… sometimes. On other occasions, we really hated how two of our favorite TV characters could have gotten together.
Either way, these couples were never going to work, not in 1000 years.
These next few groups of people, ladies, and gentlemen are the most dysfunctional TV couples.
TW: This article contains depictions or discussions of rape and may be triggering to some readers.
1. Rory and Dean

TV Show: Gilmore Girls
He kind of stalks her to start things out, and then, of course, there was the whole cheating on his wife thing.
Yeah, these two had a lot of issues.
2. Blair and Chuck

TV Show: Gossip Girl
Not only does Chuck try to rape people in early episodes, but there was that whole thing where he tried to sell Blair to his uncle. What a creep!
3. Buffy and Spike

TV Show: Buffy The Vampire Slayer
These two were just so bad together! Spike tries to rape her at one point, Buffy uses him to feel alive again, and then, of course, Spike dies for her.
Not romantic, just toxic!
4. Rumpelstiltskin and Belle

TV Show: Once Upon A Time .
Rumpelstiltskin is so bad for Belle. He is constantly lying to her throughout the series.
Whether it’s about that darn dagger or the fact that he’s not killing people, he’s hardly ever truthful.
5. Piper and Alex

TV Show: Orange Is The New Black .
They cheat, they break up, one snitches on the other, they get back together, and more. It’s a whirlwind of craziness you can only find in prison.
6. Cersei and Jaime

TV Show: Game Of Thrones
They would make a pretty darn good couple. They’re both power-hungry, they’re both ambitious and they both clearly love their children. There’s just one problem:
They’re siblings.
7. Ross And Rachel

TV Show: Friends
Rachel can do so much better. There have been so many times that jerk Ross has been a detriment to her life, from the now-infamous “we were on a break” stuff…
To the whole Paris thing.

He begged her not to go to Paris even though it would have meant doing her dream job, and the girl actually didn’t go.
Why Rachel why?
8. Will and Terri Schuester

TV Show: Glee
Will may not be the best husband in the world, but at the very least he never faked a pregnancy in order to stay with his wife.
Not that he could, but just saying…
9. Walt and Skyler

TV Show: Breaking Bad
We don’t like to put blame on one particular person here at Diply couple’s therapy, but this one might be Walt’s fault.
We’re just saying Skylar never started a criminal empire.
10. Jan and Michael

TV Show: The Office .
We just wanted Michael to be happy, and yet we knew that Jan wasn’t good for him.
Why she even wanted to be with him in the first place was beyond us.
She kept using Michael for his money, for his place and taking advantage of the poor guy at every turn.

Let’s just say we’re all very happy that he found Holly Flax.
11. Marissa and Volchok

TV Show: The O.C.
Where to start on these two? Before they were even dating Volchok kidnapped her, which is always a great way to start a relationship.
They only started dating because Volchok wanted to make Ryan jealous.

And then, of course, Volchok is the reason that (oh hold on, spoilers) Marissa is dead.
He rammed their car off the road, and he was the reason she died in Ryan’s arms.
