Today we’re going to talk about underrated actors people.
So get ready, because we’re going to find out who you don’t appreciate enough. Shame on you, reader. You really should be more considerate.
Hugo Weaving

If you want to make something sound epic, especially an antagonist, you grab this guy.
He’s got quite the range too: Agent Smith in The Matrix , Elrond in The Lord Of The Rings and of course, The Red Skull.
Sean Bean

I’m not just putting this guy in here cause he’s my dad (kidding… or am I?)
No, he’s been so many memorable characters, it’s just that they… tend to die. Ned Stark and Boromir spring to mind.
Alan Rickman
Alright, so we all know this guy was Snape in the Harry Potter series. So, if this guy didn’t define your childhood, his villainy is present in one of the best action movies of all time.
Does the name Hans Gruber ring a bell?
John Turturro
This guy is a staple of Coen Brothers movies, and by god he’s hilarious.
I loved him in The Big Lebowski , I loved him in O Brother, Where Art Thou? and I’m sure you will too.
Eugene Levy

This nerdy looking guy took the looks that God gave him and ran with it.
Since then, he’s touched our hearts in countless movies, most notably the American Pie series as Jim’s dad.
Stephen Root

Like another person you’re going to eventually see on this list (winky, winky) this actor is accomplished in both live action movies ( Office Space , Get Out ) and animation ( King Of The Hill ).
Robert Pattinson

Yes, we all know you know him from Twilight . But just check out his IMDb page. He has so many more movies, so many better performances.
Just give him a chance as the new Batman, okay?
Gary Oldman
Yet another Harry Potter alumni (Sirius Black), this guy has been in so much more. And I mean so much more. The Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy (as Commissioner Gordon), he was Sid Vicious, he was Dracula.
And I could go on.
Richard Jenkins
Two words: Step Brothers . This is the performance that sticks in my head when I think Richard Jenkins.
He absolutely nailed the father role. Also, he was in Cabin In The Woods but to me, in that he was even “the dad from Step Brothers “
Andy Serkis
This isn’t a guy that you’ll see the real-life face of all that much (unless of course, you’re watching Black Panther ) but his mocap work is the stuff of legend.
He was Gollum, he was Caesar in The Planet Of The Apes reboot. He’s all around a top-notch performer.
Paul Giamatti

If you haven’t seen Sideways , then you’re doing yourself a disservice. It’s a great little dark comedy centered around wine.
Of course, he’s done many things besides that, however, that ones my favorite of his.
Sam Elliott
If you want a man with a long, Southern drawl that sounds like a typical cowboy or everyman, look no further than this guy.
His narration over The Big Lebowski still sits well in my memory.
Willem Dafoe
I knew this guy was going to appear on this list because he’s always in the background (except when he’s not) and he always does a stellar job.
I remember him as the Green Goblin.
Sam Rockwell

This guy is amazing. Although I haven’t seen Moon , I hear it’s amazing.
I remember him as Billy from Seven Psychopaths and as George W. Bush from Vice . Which he nailed, by the way.
J.K. Simmons

Not only is this guy an accomplished actor (my favorite scene of his is from Burn After Reading . For those of you who have seen it: “Is he dead?”) but he’s also an awesome voice actor.
The Legend Of Korra , anyone?
