Loose ends, unfinished business, cruddy writing, whatever you want to call them, we’re asking the questions that were never answered.
Even the ones that have fans scratching their heads saying: “Well what was the point of that?”
What Was The Point Of Jon Being A Targaryen?
Most people thought he was going to sit on the Iron Throne.

I mean, why else would they give him a claim to it? In the end, it didn’t even matter.
Why Leave The Second Sons In Meereen?
I mean, with an army of the dead on the way, you’d think they could’ve used all the men they could get.
Then again, Daenerys probably thought there was no way she’d blow a three dragon lead.
How Come No One Has Sailed West Of Westeros?
This is less a plot hole and more of a dumb fact about the world they live in.
But Jimmy Kimmel said it best: “Nobody knows what’s West of Westeros? Even the people who live on the border of Westeros never said: hey let’s go see what’s over there?”
Where does Drogon even go?
Some people, including Samwell Tarly, think he’s heading back to their (his and Dany’s) ancient homeland of Volantis.
But, seeing as how we never see where he lands, this is a question that will remain unanswered.
When Did Arya’s Faceless Man Training Come Into Play?
She never once switched her face around.
She goes through two seasons, two freaking, bloody seasons of faceless men training and to our knowledge, she never uses it once. Talk about pointless.
Where is Ellaria Sand?
Like, is she still locked away in the basement watching her own daughter decompose?
We couldn’t get a quick scene where they let her out? Or am I the only one who cares about this?
Did Yara Greyjoy ever get Independence for the Iron Islands?
If not, that would have been an awkward return home.
Any Iron Island resident: “My queen, did you manage to get us Independence?”
Yara: “Oh, that’s what I was supposed to do!”
What’s the point of the Night’s Watch?
I mean, now that all the White Walkers are dead, what are the Night’s Watch protecting the realm from?
I guess it’s still a place to send “bastards and broken things.”
After all that, the Azor Ahai prophecy was nothing?
Seriously, are we supposed to believe that Bran was the Prince that was Promised?
If so, then where is Lightbringer? I guess the Azor Ahai was all build up for no payoff.
What is the point of the Three-Eyed Raven? Does Bran choose another one?
I’m kind of assuming they’re born and not picked, but seriously, what was the point of that plotline?
So that he could see the future a couple of times?
What are the Unsullied going to do?
So they’re sailing to the Isle of Naath… and then what?
They’re going to invade it? They’re going to live there? This plan doesn’t really seem to be thought out all that well.
What happens to Essos?
I mean specifically all those cities Dany liberated.
Now that she’s dead, does Daario Naharis just continue ruling with the Second Sons? Do they return to being slaver cities? I need to know!
Okay sooooo, are we just going to ignore all the prophecies now, or…?
It was honestly like after Daenarys was killed, all the plots just vanished — GONE.
Arya’s eyes, Cersei’s valonqar (Tyrion), and Azor Ahai’s rebirth as the Prince That Was Promised. Like, bye I guess lol.
If Bran is the Three-Eyed raven and can see everything, did he not know that all of this was going to happen?
And did the kid not want to speak up or something?
What is the point of him being a Greenseer?!
Are we really to be so confident that this government is better than the last?
Was anyone else hoping that they actually would be more democratic? But then they all laughed and it was like…no. No Sam was really on to something.
Who taught Dany how to count to 20?!
They really affected her life in a positive way, and it would be great to know who taught her how to count that high so we can thank them!
