There sure are a whole bunch of controversial opinions about movies out there. Some we agree with, others we can’t understand no matter how hard we try.
But this is all about opinions, which everyone has a right to have!

1. ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’
This ought to get the comic book fans’ blood boiling.
I tend to agree with them, not because superhero movies are all that great but Scott Pilgrim Vs, The World was a bad movie.
2. ‘Avatar’
Is this one controversial?
I feel as the years go on the Avatar bubble gets closer and closer to popping. Better come out with those sequels soon, James Cameron!
3. Gangster Movies
Man, this girl couldn’t find one gangster movie that she liked, eh? Nothing by Martin Scorsese, one of the greatest directors of all time? What about Tarantino, another great director?

4. ‘Sky High’
Which studio was Sky High ? Disney? Oh, you mean Marvel? What, it was just a Disney channel movie? And this is where you think the peak was?
Not Dark Knight ? Not Endgame ? A Disney Channel movie?
5. ‘Charlie’s Angels’
Nope, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. This fan is not talking about the Charlie’s Angels from 2000.
The 2019 one. Definitely an unpopular opinion.
6. ‘Mission Impossible’
This fan says a bold statement and likely one that is not backed up by many others.
But then again, if it was then it would not be controversial.
7. ‘Black Panther’
Oh boy, if you’re going to hate on Marvel movies, careful about hating on this one.
You could get a whole bunch of internet backlash for saying Black Panther sucks.
8. Meryl Streep (and, by extension, her movies)
Now, this is just… just… I have no words. The woman is a treasure and everything she does she absolutely kills.
They don’t just give those Academy Awards to anyone!
9. ‘Harry Potter’
Overrated?!? Avert your eyes, Harry Potter fans, lest they be burnt from the inside out from this horrible blasphemy!
Who doesn’t like magic and mystery?! Well, apparently this person.
10. ‘The Mummy’
They’re talking about the one from 1999, and… well, this one isn’t so bad.
The Mummy was a lot of fun. Remember Brandon Frasier? Imhotep? Just a classic summer flick.
11. ‘Batman Vs. Superman’
This movie was widely hated by most, but there is a small group of fans that will live and die by these movies!

Now that is one heck of an opinion! They tend to be long, sure, but it’s 12 solid hours of action, drama, fantasy violence and above all: entertainment.
Definitely one of the most controversial tweets.

While it may not seem controversial to love a Star Wars movie, a lot of people weren’t fans of The Last Jedi .
