Whether it’s scrolling through an app, bumping into each other in the grocery store, or even reconnecting later in life, there are endless ways to meet-cute someone.

1. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake
After these two met briefly at the Golden Globes in 2007, Justin got her number from a mutual friend.
He then proceeded to court her by asking if it was okay that he was calling her. From there, he was pretty persistent in getting her to agree to a date. Thank goodness he was!
2. Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford
This how-they-met story fits right into the pages of a Jane Austen novel!
The actress and Mumford and Sons musician were childhood pen pals ! This was put together through their respective churches. Once they were older, they reconnected.
3. Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
Jim came off as a knight in shining armor by saving Reese from a drunk guy the first night they met.
