First-world problem or not, it sucks to have a movie or TV show spoiled.
It’s simply more fun and suspenseful to watch something you don’t know anything about. This especially includes character deaths.

And yet, the ones who spoil these deaths often end up being the actors themselves!
Get ready to facepalm at these 10+ actors who did just that.
1. Ian McShane
Game of Thrones fans drew their swords at the veteran actor after he hinted at his character’s death.
“It would only be for one episode — that means I must die at the end of it,” he said in a BBC Breakfast interview .
2. Mischa Barton
Before The O.C. fans watched that heartbreaking death scene, they knew it was coming thanks to the star’s big mouth.
That’s because the interview she did with Access Hollywood aired before the dramatic episode even did.
“It’s true, it’s true. My character dies,” she said in the interview.
“My character has been through so, so much and there’s really nothing more left for her to do.”
Even so, her death on the show had people crying .
3. Hugh Jackman
Wolverine decided to take the anticipation of his upcoming Logan film into his own hands.
While he never flat-out admitted the spoiler, he did tell Entertainment Weekly this about his character: “he must give his life to save someone else.”
4. Finn Jones
When the actor revealed that he would be playing the main character in Netflix’s Iron Fist , this made one thing obvious.
That is, his character, Loras Tyrell, on Game of Thrones would be killed off.
5. Mark Ruffalo
Avenger fans were outraged when Ruffalo casually blurted out in an interview that the cast of Avengers: Infinity War dies.
While he played it off as a joke, no one believed him and the damage was done.
6. Tom Holland
If there was anyone that could take heat off of Ruffalo’s mistake, it was Holland.
The latest Spider-Man actor ended up spoiling the end of Avengers: Endgame by blurting out Ironman/Tony Stark’s death. To be fair, he didn’t blurt out his own character’s death.
7. Michael Cudlitz
Before his character was brutally killed by Negan on The Walking Dead , we had some hints about this…
That’s because the actor tweeted that he did (PAST TENSE) enjoy working on the show ahead of the new season.
8. Harrison Ford
While this wasn’t a direct spoiler, Ford kept hinting at ways his notorious Star Wars character “Han Solo” should die.
Then, during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he finally revealed that he got them to kill his character.
9. Samuel L. Jackson
This versatile actor spoiled the ending of his character, Mace Windu, when asked by Now Playing Magazine about his character’s fate.
“Dying — Like the rest of the Jedi,” he said. Real subtle, Samuel.
“I can’t tell you [the specifics], but yeah, it’s an awesome death,” he continued.
But since the fate of the Jedi Order has been clear from the original Star Wars , Jackson didn’t see what he said as a spoiler.
10. Tom Holland… again
Did we mention he spoiled the ending of Avengers: Endgame twice?
The second time was on The Graham Norton Show when he was there to promote Spider-Man: Far From Home . He began by calling it “a direct continuation of Avengers: Endgame.”
“So we deal with the ramifications of the blip, of the death of Tony Stark.”
In his defense, though, the movie had been out for a few months.
“Sorry if anyone hasn’t seen the film! If you haven’t, then you’re living under a rock, to be honest,” he added.
11. Mark Ruffalo… again
Oh, Mark. When will he ever learn? He was at it again, this time spoiling the Thor: Ragnarok intro.
He did so by accident by leaving his live stream running during a screening of the movie.
By doing so, listeners were able to hear the first 20 minutes.
Afterward, Mark knew he was in trouble.
He went on to say , “In all fairness, it was in my pocket, and they heard the first 20 minutes. 15?” in addition to worrying about being fired.
12. Wagner Moura
While we all knew how the tale of Pablo Escobar ended, it was still upsetting that Moura couldn’t help but hint at his main character’s demise during the second season of Narcos .
Is nothing sacred??
At the time of saying this, he and producer Eric Newman related the death to *Titanic* and how his death is inevitable.
While the death wasn’t directly spoiled, by implying the timeline of the show , it gave fans confirmation that his death was upcoming.
13. Will Smith
A Tokyo press conference for I am Legend is all it took for this legendary actor and comedian to spill the beans.
This prompted producer and co-screenwriter, Akiva Goldsman, to interrupt the interview , shouting, “Don’t give away the ending!”
