He’s one of the smoothest, sexiest characters on TV , and he has said a lot in his five seasons of being on the air .

Not only does he hate liars, but he also hates bad liars.

I’m sure there’s a lot of broken people who can relate to that.
When he taught us how to win
“The best way to be first is to know it’ll happen beforehand.”
So either you can take this as “try to interpret everything that’s going to happen by planning well” or you can take it as he’s trying to make you get psychic powers.
When he made us laugh about kids
“Children are hideous little creatures. Terrible, taxing burdens.”
Well, he’s not wrong about the “taxing” part. But some people actually really like kids, controversially. Not all of them are hideous little creatures… just most of them.
When he reminded us where bullies go
“Did you know there’s a special section in hell reserved for bullies? So, have fun!”
So if you’re being bullied and there’s nothing you can do about it, take solace in knowing they’ll be in Hell.
When he reminded us not to get too attached
“I’m like walking heroin, very habit-forming. It never ends well.”
Oddly enough, this statement could have been about the series. It was definitely habit-forming, that’s for sure. No idea about the ending yet.
When he gave us a daily schedule:
“Snapping necks and cashing checks is what I do.”
See where he is actually probably snapping necks, he’s just telling us to approach life more aggressively. Don’t snap anyone’s neck irl.
When he reminded us to take what we want:
“No one gives us the right… we take it.”
We hope there are limits to this whole “take what you want” outlook on life. You can’t just go around taking everything!
When he made us feel deep about our actions
“Why do humans think they can rectify one evil with another?”
Wow, who would have thought that the show Lucifer would be making us think about the good we do in the world.

“The most evil of people have the most normal names, I’ve experienced. Beware anyone named Keith.”
