One Day At A Time actress Valerie Bertinelli recently shared an interesting piece of information with her son Wolf Van Halen, that she shared with the late rockstar Eddie Van Halen.

What is life if not discovering weird things about your mother as you grow up? Well, Wolf can definitely say that his mother did not disappoint when it came to that.

During SiriusXM's Classic Rewind series “Wolfgang’s Top of the Pack”, Bertinelli and her son, Wolf Van Halen were bonding over music.

They were looking at songs that reminded them of the late Eddie Van Halen. And Wolf got to learn something new about his mother in the process.

After they listened to Pat Benatar’s “We Belong”, the actress opened up about a very sweet moment in her life with Eddie.

“I love that song so, so, so much,” she said, People reported. “This is a song that… Your dad and I were going through some challenging times, and its lyrics really, really, really hit me.”

“These lyrics were really about staying together and letting the person know how much you belong together no matter what the struggles you might be going through,” she said.

"Again, something uplifting, and the harmonies in this are beautiful. I love that song, so yeah. It meant something to me and dad.”

But then the fun surprise came when they listened to Elton John’s “Burn Down The Mission”.

“Elton John — thought I was going to marry him before I met your dad,” she said. “But I still love and adore him, and I think he’s brilliant. This is one of my absolute favorite songs, ’cause I love the piano rideout.”

Well, I don't think it would have worked out ultimately, but hey, it's still a cute story!
