Yes, it seems that this woman’s unparalleled bravery is shining through once again. Despite knowing what everyone was going to say about her, she still took a shower on live TV.
Honestly, sometimes the internet could be a really mean place, so we’re thankful that this worked out well.
So right now, Caitlyn Jenner is on a show called ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.
The TV show was originally made for the UK, but it was so well received that it slowly began to get produced in other countries.
What happens on the show?
The celebs live together in the jungle for a few weeks.
They fight toward one goal, and one goal only: being crowned king or queen of the jungle.
Honestly, it probably does so well because it’s fun to see celebrities not have access to any of their riches.
They’re stuck in a place where money doesn’t matter, only their wits do.
And some of them don’t even always have that to help them.
Caitlyn Jenner is on the new season of the show.
Considering the fact that she’s 70 years old, it’s a really intense show for her to get put on.
So we are already giving her props for that.
Caitlyn Jenner has gone through a lot the last couple of years.
And yet, through all of it, she’s shown that she has the same exquisite bravery of a butterfly flying against the harsh winds.
However, recently, she underwent one of the most daunting tasks any trans woman could ever face.
Skydiving.
Oh, and also, she took a shower on live TV.
But let’s back up.
Because before we get into her bravery, we NEED to applaud her fierceness for going skydiving at 70 years old.
She had to skydive her way into the jungle!
And at 70 years old, that must be tough.
But then, she had to take a shower in the jungle, because god forbid you’re stinky in the jungle.
So she put on a black bikini…
And went for it.
It wasn’t a “shower” per se, but it was the rest of the camp pouring cold water down a pipe to simulate a shower.
Regardless, she did this in front of the whole world. Beautiful, stunning and brave.
And thankfully, Twitter rallied behind her.
Which, let’s be honest, this could have gone horribly for her.
I think we all know how scary the internet could be, and even if she might not have access to it in the jungle, it would still be awful to see.
So we are super thankful that people applauded her.
The world needs to see how important it is that Caitlyn Jenner is taking these steps for herself!
