It’s hard to believe that a 102-year-old person still has unfulfilled dreams considering how long they’ve lived, but Edie Simms reminded us that it’s possible.

Simms revealed to the local news outlet that she loved doing community service and sold over 400 of her handmade items at the center.

She said that the community service part of her day was the most fulfilling because sometimes she’s the only one those people talk to daily.
Back To Bingo
The officers released Simms from jail by midday and escorted her back to bingo. She’s definitely not your typical “jailbird.”

Once Simms ticked getting arrested off her bucket list, the retiree joined her friends for a daily Bingo game. She also promised it’ll be her last time riding in the police cruiser.
Making New Friends
Police Sergeant, John McLaughlin admitted that the officers didn’t mind obliging such requests because they’re wholesome.
“…We get more out of it than the seniors do,” he said.
Not The Most Outrageous Request
One of the workers at the center said Simms’ request is the most creative of the funny ones they get from the residents. Perhaps it comes with age!
