Wooden furniture is beautiful and ageless, but it has one flaw: if you don’t put pads on the legs it’s going to scratch the floor. Of course, it’s remarkably easy to go to a store and pick up a pack of run-of-the-mill furniture pads; but why not try something cuter ?
If you love to crochet, love animals, and love keeping scratches off your floor, then you may also love Natalya Salkova’s crochet furniture pads.
Natalya Salkova decided to crochet quirky furniture pads for their chairs.

Deciding their chair legs needed a bit of a cute-boost (and some scratch protection), Natalya Salkova picked up their hook and began to crochet . Making four adorable sets of furniture pads, Salkova’s chairs now feature the sweet little faces of a dog, owl, fox, and cat.
Sharing their creations on Facebook, followers fell in love with their adorable designs.

Though Salkova doesn’t sell the pads publicly, you can find a very similar design on ShawlShopRU’s Etsy page for less than $3 each. Alternatively, if you want to try crocheting your own, you can base your design off KnittingwChopsticks’ basic chair sock pattern.
